19/09/2026: A magnificent and well-maintained course, even with the heatwave and ongoing construction. Excellent welcome thanks to Muriel and Karen. Very good restaurant on site: the food is truly excellent.

02/09/2026: Just so you know, the Val Grand golf course seems to be operating on a half-day schedule. From 3 pm onwards, only 9 holes are playable, and this isn't mentioned when you book. This is politely explained to you at reception, which closes at 7 pm, with the justification being the need to close the gates after the 12th hole! With a 3:40 pm tee time, I finished my 9 holes (despite a long wait) at 5:35 pm. I think it would have been possible to get past the last gate on the 12th well before 7 pm... It had been about ten years since I'd been back, so I'll wait quite a while before teeing there again.

22/07/2026: Excellent place, fast service even for groups of 11 like ours at lunchtime. Varied menu, generous portions and delicious food. Friendly and responsive staff. Highly recommended. Well-stocked bar.
