04/10/2026: We had a wonderful time at Hippopotamus with our family! The food was delicious, the service efficient, and above all, the atmosphere was fantastic, making us want to come back.
Special mention goes to our waitress, who was incredibly friendly, pleasant, and attentive. You could really tell she loves her job and enjoys welcoming and making customers happy. This kind of attitude makes all the difference in a restaurant experience.
26/09/2026: A slight cooking issue with a hanger steak.
But they need to learn to choose the cut based on the cooking method.
It's up to the chef to do his job properly.

11/11/2025: We went as a couple on this public holiday. The welcome and service were impeccable. However, the food was very disappointing in terms of value for money. The Savoyard menu arrived with the cheese not very hot, but never mind. And the Périgord menu consisted of a few pieces of duck breast with a salad, potatoes, and a small dish with a lot of sauce and a few pieces of meat. Not convincing.
Disappointed overall 🤧

23/08/2026: This establishment doesn't deserve any stars, but let's say the obligatory one is for the beauty of the place. No welcome or smile whatsoever. Dinner at 7 pm was impossible because they didn't have a reservation despite 10 empty tables.
(Thank goodness, considering the reviews about the crepes!) I then asked if we could at least have a drink 🤷🏻
"*Sighs* Well, I'll say yes, find yourselves a table and scan the QR code." Lucky for me that depression isn't contagious 😅 A bit of business training wouldn't hurt, my friend 😉
In short, don't be fooled by the magnificent setting and run for the hills, you poor fools 🤣

18/02/2024: Franchement pas terrible, le burger viande et pain trop cuit, frites cramées ( je n'ai pas fini), peut être que c'était pas de chance mais la qualité du repas est loin d'être au niveau des prix pratiqués dans ce restaurant.
05/01/2024: Première expérience dans ce restaurant. Excellent accueil, formule du jour alléchante et qui tient toutes ces promesses. Carte raisonnable en choix et en prix.
