Bar Le Steir
Quimper
16/09/2026: Bad experience. The terrace overlooking the Steir river is dirty, as is the upstairs area which serves as both a storage room and, incidentally, a dining room. Service was minimal and the salads were uninteresting. I'm from Quimper and I won't be going back.
20/08/2026: I took a friend to this place for a coffee. What a disappointment to see this lovely little upstairs terrace, a hidden spot for a refreshing break overlooking the river. It was dirty, very dirty. What a shame to neglect such a pretty place. The curtain on the stairs was hanging by itself, it was so filthy!

Copper J
Quimper
14/05/2025: At first glance, the menu appeared unexciting, but the actual dishes were scrumptious. The risotto with my delicious fish was out of this world.
07/05/2025: Very cosy local bistro with local food showing food miles (very few). Lots of local customers and obviously frequent diners. The burger was going down a storm with most but I didn't have it to my regret as my son loved it, it seemed freshly minced and made in the kitchen. It's worth supporting good places and this is one of those

We were helped to very good wine choices and the whole evening was a great pleasure. Thanks to everyone who works at Le Steinway!

Au Chaudron Des Thés
Quimper

Quimper
08/09/2026: Excellent bakery, I go there regularly at lunchtime, it's close to the high schools and art school in Quimper.
26/08/2026: I understand that this bakery has replaced an older, now-closed bakery at the same address, but there's nothing new, and the phone number is no longer in service.
