20/02/2026: Where to begin to describe the magical moment I spent at this establishment? Because yes, it was an experience, not just a simple meal! The light show and ambiance were delightful. Thank you to the staff, especially the kitchen: the ingredients were high quality and perfectly prepared. Thank you also to the front-of-house staff for their service and cheerful atmosphere. I wholeheartedly recommend it and will definitely add this address to my list in Bordeaux.

17/02/2026: The service was excellent. I came with my girlfriend for Valentine's Day, and our dedicated server gave us great advice while still respecting our privacy. As for the food, everything was exquisite, from the appetizers to the coffee, and all for a reasonable price. Special mention for the ribeye steak! In short, thank you to the team.

24/02/2026: A fantastic atmosphere for a truly amazing karaoke night! I'm not usually a fan of these kinds of evenings, but I absolutely loved the time I spent at this restaurant. Plus, the menus are excellent, with superb couscous!

The atmosphere was fantastic, the karaoke was great, we had a good laugh, and the food was excellent with plenty of choices and generous portions. In short, a place to discover and rediscover again and again. The staff were incredibly kind; as I have an allergy to one of the ingredients in the only dessert, they managed to create a suitable (and excellent) alternative for me that same evening. I am very grateful. We truly had an incredible experience. Thank you for this wonderfully successful evening. And congratulations to the entire team. We will definitely be back.

15/02/2026: We had high expectations for this dinner, hoping the chef team would showcase their creativity with fresh, local ingredients. The service was good and the staff were friendly, but the food was a letdown. Most of the dishes were underwhelming—not terrible, but lacking the spark you’d expect from a restaurant of this caliber. The only standouts were the bread and the smoked tuna. The rest felt forgettable. The pork dish was especially disappointing: it didn’t taste good, the sauce was too salty, and the pork itself was tough and dry—fully cooked but not tender, with no clear flavor or concept behind it. It left us wondering what the restaurant was trying to highlight with this seasonal menu. In France, many places use local ingredients with excellent results. Unfortunately, L’Oiseau Bleu didn’t deliver that same level of thought or taste. Based on this experience, I wouldn’t recommend it. Dk why google took me review down.

08/03/2026: What a little gem Super friendly staff and chef . Fresh cut meat grilled over open fire. Started with foie gras terrine amazing. Followed with steaks done perfectly and fresh frites and salad. Wine selection enormous in every price range. Delightful night out very reasonably priced
