A truly original and exceptional evening: incredible dishes prepared by Chef Anthony, a festive atmosphere thanks to Isabelle, surprises and little games throughout the evening. We also had the sliced ​​beef, which was melt-in-your-mouth tender, and a Caesar salad with a wonderfully crisp lettuce. The portions were generous. 10/09/2026: Passing through, we stumbled upon this restaurant, among many others in the central square of Bazas... We received a very warm welcome from the owner, who took the time to explain in detail all the dishes on offer. The local Azadaise beef is excellent, and the hamburger, at least five centimeters thick—unheard of at 66 years old—was as delicious as it was beautiful to look at, served with homemade fries. The portions were very generous, which, as our host explained, is to be expected in rugby country. The desserts were nearly perfect, for a reasonable price, featuring local products and many homemade items. I highly recommend this detour, as the town is charming and the restaurant is outstanding. Congratulations and thank you, it was a truly wonderful experience! 😉

18/08/2026: This was our second time visiting Arcada and I’m pleased to say it was just as fabulous as the first. The service was impeccable and the staff were incredibly friendly, recommending food and wine pairings and explaining everything we had ordered to us. The food was exceptional - presented beautifully and delicious in taste. We even got to have a look in the wine cellar before we left. Honestly can’t recommend this place enough.

15/09/2026: Influences is a masterpiece that beautifully connects you to the soul of the region! Every dish perfectly balanced the salinity of the sea with the rich, woodsy essence of the soil. The meal opened with an exquisite ocean-fresh lobster hidden under a foamy, acidic tomato cloud accompanied with an earthy pigeon boule. Next came a texturally sublime chanterelle mushroom delight that tasted like the mossy forest floor of the Dordogne, followed by a delicate, lingering celery and fish harmony. I had so much wine that I almost forgot the high quality tuna bathed in a red bell pepper and spicy sauce sprinkled with pine nuts. The Entrée was flawless pigeon with encrusted eggplant which was perfectly crunchy on the outside and incredibly tender on the inside. For me the absolute pinnacle was the Rocamadour cheese. I had to close my eyes to take it all in. You can taste the bitter wild herbs and greens the goats browsed on, finishing with a fascinating, slightly numbing, nutty and tangy earthiness. The dessert was a refreshing finale of crisp, sour regional grapes softened by sweet cream and vibrant, fruity sorbet. A true blessing to the taste buds and an unforgettable culinary journey! I will be back.
