10/06/2024: I'm not in the habit of saying bad things about establishments, but people need to know what to expect... This establishment has obtained a reputation that it may have deserved in the past but which for my part has not been up to par at all today. Far from my hopes or the good things I've heard about it. To begin with, the welcome is neither good nor bad, but it is not entirely warm. Meal taken in 30 minutes and everything was broken. We are not really pushed towards the exit but almost because everyone has to be seated at a table quickly. The prices are excessive for the taste and quality of the products we are served. Maybe we're paying for the view of a body of water... I took the starter + main course formula; as a starter I chose the Lauragaise salad; How can I tell you that the 3 or 4 slices of dried duck breast fought a duel with the much larger salad leaves, the breast was very peppery, and for the main course I chose the cassoulet. The portion of white beans is certainly copious but I only had half a sausage and a duck leg without forgetting the whole pepper pot! All I had left was the taste of pepper in my mouth at the end of the meal, no point other than spoiling the dish or hiding the flavors. For dessert I had a fruit salad, it was not a canned fruit salad but the fruits were incipid or too acidic (grapefruit, pineapple, light purple grapes and mango). I got it for €29.70 (24.20 cassoulet and Lauragaise salad + 5.50 fruit salad) My friend took the formula for €13.05 with starter, main course and dessert with a bland tomato tartare as a starter because tomatoes are not quite in season and not very filling but that again bothers me less given the price of the formula, as a main course a fine country sausage with a mini aligot casserole but which was an extra €3.25 (this is a downright steal given the quantity) otherwise it was either with white beans or with fries and for dessert a chocolate mousse all in all classic so no complaints about this. My friend got it for €16.30. We got out of there in no time, we hadn't finished our dish before they brought us dessert and the bill. I emphasize the courage that the young people who work there have to endure the ambient hubbub and the pace of these services. I would probably never set foot here again and wouldn't say anything bad about it but I wouldn't recommend anyone to go there. Move on, there are much better places elsewhere for the same price.
