25/07/2023: Very nice owner and chef, good atmosphere, but expensive for rice, we went out and we were still disappointed, it's not worth the price to pay, meat in pieces, no more than 30 to 13 grams, I should have taken a scale ... disappointed me and my wife .... bravo to the French islands, I have not seen the dream of the islands .... no decor photos of the Creole islands..

03/03/2024: Today we ate like pigs (fondues, reblochonadas...) and we thought we wouldn't have dinner. Finally we managed to make room and we don't regret it, we ate very well and quickly! In addition, the owners are very nice

21/03/2024: I had a lovely experience at La Taverne thanks to the most amazing server, Samira. She was so gracious and kind. She gently explained the French menu before I ordered (my French is poor). She brought a carafe of water with my meal. Checked in to be sure I had all I needed all whist moving around a busy restaurant with a genuine smile. As a solo traveller from Canada, she really was a gift in my day.

I would especially like to thank the staff who are really very pleasant and smiling and especially the efficiency of Mr Moreira and his team for the responsiveness and efficiency following a dispute and all this with a smile (which is not the case of all establishments)
