07/04/2026: A restaurant like no other. My children chose Le Clos du Château for Easter weekend. First, the setting: a quiet, unspoiled village just a stone's throw from Annecy, a well-located establishment, a peaceful atmosphere that invites you to unwind. It's beautiful. But it's at the table that you understand why this place is worth the detour. The cuisine is remarkably refined. The starters are crafted with a delicacy rarely encountered: clean flavors, high-quality ingredients, nothing superfluous. The main courses follow with the same precision: perfectly cooked, sauces with a depth you thought was reserved for the finest restaurants. And the desserts, to top it all off, are so light and elegant that you almost forget you've already had a wonderful meal. The grandchildren were delighted. We were even more so. It's one of the finest restaurants in Haute-Savoie. A reputable establishment, meticulously maintained, which we recommend without the slightest reservation.

20/05/2026: A place to discover and recommend! The staff's attire is original and very friendly. We were served in a warm atmosphere by very attentive staff. The dishes were beautifully presented, delicious, and sometimes surprising, like the chocolate and black olive combination. A very nice pairing of food and local wines, as well as wines from elsewhere. One regret: not seeing the chef in the dining room at the end of the meal.

The staff were as good as the food: welcoming, attentive, vigilant, and available. It's a shame we didn't see the chef in the dining room. Highly recommended.

03/05/2026: Dinner for two at the Auberge du Bois Prin restaurant. Peaceful setting, a little removed from the center of Chamonix, with a beautiful view of Mont Blanc. Excellent cuisine featuring local and seasonal products with just the right flavors. Attentive service. All in all, a wonderful evening. I highly recommend it!

Don't be in a hurry, because delicious food takes time; everything is cooked fresh to order! The menu changes monthly and follows the seasons! You'll never be disappointed at this establishment! 14/07/2026: Excellent place to eat at altitude. I was tempted by the tartiflette (yes, you can eat tartiflette in mid-July in 30-degree heat 😅) and I didn't regret a single bite! It was delicious. Don't leave without trying the homemade blueberry tart. The best around. Highly recommended!

11/06/2026: It's not a trendy place; it's a place like they don't make anymore. A haven where you can slow down, laugh, meet people, and always leave feeling a little lighter than when you arrived. Pen is largely responsible for this. A unique character—tender, witty, and funny at times—he has above all known how to surround himself with a team that reflects his own qualities. Places with soul are everywhere. Places with a soul are much rarer.

A nice touch... a treat for our little dog... a lovely gesture... 🥰 Now, one drawback, though... the prices are a bit high... both for the set menu and the wine list... 🙄... For two... €171...
