02/09/2026: As is often the case, we came for lunch on the terrace today, and the meal was a disaster: - We were initially only offered the set menu, not the à la carte menu. We had to insist on getting it. - Several dishes were missing. - My granddaughter's (4 years old) meal took a very long time to be served. - The meat on the set menu (grilled short rib) was extremely tough. - The dish was described as "Café de Paris sauce," but it was just two small pieces of herb butter. - My prawn salad was 90% lettuce and swimming in dressing. - My son was served the wrong dessert from the set menu. - I wasn't offered any dessert (no dessert menu was brought to me). - We weren't offered any coffee. - To top it all off, my granddaughter wasn't served syrup, even though it was included in the children's menu. I only realized it at the end of the meal and was told I should have asked for it during the meal! No apology whatsoever, and what's more, I had to insist to get the syrup deducted from the bill! It's not about the few euros for the syrup, but the proper etiquette would have been for them to apologize for forgetting (it happens to everyone) and, above all, to spontaneously offer to deduct its cost from the bill! Instead, the manager left grumbling at me without any apology!… We used to frequent this restaurant, but it's clear we won't be returning given the poor quality of our meal! A word to the wise!
