06/01/2026: On our way to Spain for our holiday, we stopped for a meal and I can simply say we had a wonderful time. Special mention for the vegetarian burger. Very warm welcome. Thank you very much.
05/01/2026: This is a place that clearly deserves to be much better known.
We arrived at the very end of service, around 2:30 pm, and were nonetheless greeted with great kindness and were able to have lunch there, which was already a very nice touch.
The cuisine is refined, generous, and full of flavor, showcasing perfectly prepared fresh, local ingredients. The recipes are original and expertly executed, with a special mention for the delicious burger buns.
A place somewhat hidden away, but well worth the detour. A truly wonderful discovery, where you can feel the passion for food and local produce.
We will definitely be back.

08/03/2026: For over 15 years we've been coming to Le Relais de Piau, winter and summer alike, and it's always fantastic! The food is consistently delicious, with a special mention for the royal garbure, of course 😋, and the owners are genuinely wonderful! After the terrible storms that hit the restaurant, you bravely bounced back and reopened – well done! And congratulations on the new decor, 10/10 😉. As you can see, we never miss an opportunity to come and see you! See you very soon!

13/03/2026: A bad experience at this place, which looked visually inviting. There was a remarkable lack of friendliness, as if we were bothering them, even though we had booked two days in advance. No compensation was offered for changing a dish. They don't accept criticism, which could be beneficial for future improvements. While some dishes were good, others remain to be seen in terms of quantity and quality.
Furthermore, hygiene is questionable: the restaurant was disorganized, cramped, and lacked ventilation! Very unpleasant. The dishwashing area was in a deplorable state, and the kitchen wasn't much better. Even though this place is supposed to be a convivial spot for enjoying a good raclette, the lack of ventilation... I unfortunately cannot recommend it.
13/03/2026: We had a reservation for six and arrived five minutes early. However, the table hadn't been prepared beforehand, and we felt like we were intruding!
One of the servers went to get a table from outside and put it at the end of another, which blocked the flow of other customers.
There was also a lack of ventilation, a loose electrical cable above the door, and poor hygiene...
And let's not even mention the waitress who must have lost her smile and friendliness on the slopes.
But their pizzas, at least, were good!

27/07/2024: Le restaurant est agréable et patrô et employés sont gentils. Il y a de la musique uniquement instrumentale qui n’est pas trop forte et est agréable.
27/07/2024: Лучшее место среди всех кафе и баров на территории курорта. Мы кушали там каждый день. Отдельное сердечное спасибо Tony )) очень позитивный и приветливый человек, ко всем гостям относится с вниманием. Заходите, не пожалеете.

Châlet refuge du Lac d'Orédon

10/07/2024: Nous sommes un groupe de 11 personnes à avoir passé une nuit dans ce chalet en demi-pension
Montagnards des Hautes Pyrénées, nous sommes habitués à séjourner dans les refuges et nous connaissons ce magnifique massifs du Neouvielle où nous sommes déjà venu
Mais hélas, pour la première fois dans ce chalet, à l'égard duquel nous avons beaucoup à dire!!!
L'accueil n'est pas chaleureux même si le personnel saisonnier fait de son mieux. Idéalement placé les propriétaires ne courent pas après la clientèle et l'impression qui domine est de faire le max de profit....même le pain est rationne ?
Le repas du soir qu'ils nous disent être local : de la soupe genre tomate très épicée, immangeable pour la plupart d'entre nous notons qu'il y avait des enfants!!
Des pâtes avec du poulet, noseabond, immangeable, avec des os noirs!!!
de l'eau a boire à table et le pain à minima
Si vous voulez avoir de tout au petit déjeuner arrivez les premiers car fromage et jambon ne sont pas renouvelés
Et la patronne qui traite de cancrelats, les personnes qui s'approchent du buffet!!! Incroyable!!
Connaissant les refuges, c'est la première fois que nous faisons cette expérience...
Allez plutôt au refuge de l'Oule , c'est vraiment autre chose et les montagnards y sont bien accueillis
Autrement apportez votre repas, ça sera toujours mieux
Un point plus positif : nos chambres étaient correctes et la literie propre...Ouf!!!
