16/02/2026: We had a wonderful Valentine's Day evening. A special menu was offered, and a live band provided entertainment.
The service was excellent, and the meal was perfect. I highly recommend this establishment.

21/11/2025: This hotel doesn't even deserve one star... it's a rip-off... bad smell in the room... the price is very high compared to the quality... we were forced to stay because we had no other choice and we were tired 😴

Hotel du Royans Restaurant

01/10/2025: Room and bedding are decent for the price. Some rooms have the toilet on the landing. The shower is tiny, you really have to be a bit big to fit in it. The second night we had a freezing shower because there was no more hot water. The restaurant was apparently full at lunchtime, so all the hot water went into the dishwashers...?? The owner obviously seemed amused, but we weren't too much. So we asked for a gesture of goodwill, which was accepted. The breakfasts are good and plentiful.
27/08/2025: I always enjoyed it here, but it seems to have closed down now. The website no longer exists, and there's no response by email or phone. The shutters are down, and the terrace next door is now used by a nearby wine bar.
