18/10/2026: Average welcome, average staff. Several things displeased us.
The Surcouf cocktail was simply orange juice with flavorless foie gras, cold and dry eel without sauce, and onion beurre blanc. The pike-perch and garnishes were cold. The service was too slow; we left without ordering dessert. The price seemed very excessive at 43 euros, even without alcohol. Look elsewhere...

An exceptional location on the banks of the Nantes-Brest canal.
Secondly, the food was excellent, beautifully presented, and delicious.
Finally, the welcome and service were top-notch, and if we're in the area, we'll definitely be back.

The coffee was terrible, very weak.
The staff weren't unpleasant, but they weren't particularly friendly either.
In short, I didn't really find this place worthwhile.

Lovely couple of hours
29/05/2026: The boss is rude and ungrateful. The waitresses are fine, but he's disrespectful, rude, and leers at women, sometimes refusing to serve them. He thinks he can get away with anything; he should really reread the laws about commerce. It's high time bosses changed again.
