11/08/2026: I rarely leave such a negative review, but when you give an establishment the opportunity to resolve a problem and they do nothing to make amends, I feel this review is unfortunately justified. We chose this establishment specifically for the "traditional hot chocolate" advertised on the menu. To our great disappointment, it was actually powdered hot chocolate, simply pre-mixed with milk. When we questioned this, we were assured it was indeed traditional hot chocolate, which it clearly wasn't. We paid nearly €50 for four people, and despite our disappointment, no compensation or genuine apology was offered. What's most regrettable is that this situation could have been easily avoided. We were very disappointed and, above all, deeply offended by the feeling of having been deceived.

29/07/2026: I'm not giving it one star because I didn't eat there and I never will after seeing that guy setting up the tables outside and putting a fork on the table after dropping it on the cobblestones.
That says a lot about what might be going on behind the scenes.

23/08/2026: We arrived quite late for lunch. It was very busy, but the waitress still let us eat and was very friendly. The food was excellent, with a view of the castle.
23/08/2026: * AVOID IF YOU HAVEN'T MADE A RESERVATION * It's a shame, the menu looks appetizing, but the welcome is chilling.
There might be space on the terrace or inside, but if you haven't made a reservation, keep walking.
Strange for a brasserie open from 8 am to midnight where it doesn't indicate that reservations are required.

09/08/2026: We had a great experience! The meats (the daily special) were cooked exactly as requested, and the fries were delicious. The Rock'n'Roll Burger was a big hit, and the steak tartare was really tasty and perfectly seasoned.
I also ordered three beautiful profiteroles with a lovely vanilla whipped cream: a real treat, excellent! A great place, we'll definitely be back.
Great service, the waitress was very pleasant and funny. The manager was also very friendly!

01/08/2026: I didn't know about it, but I'll definitely be back. A truly warm welcome, and the seafood sauerkraut was to die for! Generous, flavorful, a real treat 🥰 A true Liège coffee, I'm a big fan! Well done to the Banaudon team!
29/07/2026: It's good. The service time is a bit long. The main courses are better than the desserts. Adding some vegetables to the ravioli would be a plus. Not enough staff for the service.

10/08/2026: The service was a bit slow, but otherwise pleasant. The meal of the day, dessert of the day, and coffee cost an hour, which was a shame.
06/08/2026: My wife and I stumbled upon Le Petit Comptoir this afternoon and had a wonderful time.
The welcome was warm, the decor charming, the atmosphere peaceful, and the food delicious.
If you're ever in the area, don't hesitate to stop by, take your time, and enjoy!

Tout est parfait : cadre,accueil, cuisine....
Un grand moment de gastronomie, une cuisine haute en saveurs et qui respecte les produits.
23/10/2024: Tout d'abord, mettons en avant les immenses qualités de cet établissement :
- le décor : magnifique chateau très bien rénové avec une partie hotel de luxe, un immense parc au bord de l'eau, une belle piscine
- la qualité des mets servis : dressage, associations, textures, saveurs, tout y est pour mériter dans l'assiette le macaron michelin de l'établissement. Nous nous sommes vraiment régalés.
- l'excellent accueil de l'ensemble du personnel avenant et souriant
C'était la première fois dans cet établissement mais nous allons régulièrement dans des établissements gastronomiques.
Malheureusement, ces qualités ont été malmenées par des détails extrêmement dérangeants et surtout indignes d'une table étoilée :
- un plat a été servi à table sans que le précédent ait été déservi...du jamais vu pour un étoilé : serveur dépassé ?
- une serviette traînait sous notre table : oubli d'avant ? pas de vérification avant que les invités n'arrivent ?
- la manière de jeter le pain dans les panières, certes avec des gants mais celà n'est pas très usuel et pas très esthétique pour une grande table
- une longue attente vu le nombre de plats servis : après une remarque sur le sujet, nous avons finalement reçu à la hâte les pré desserts et les desserts en meme temps ! Ce qui caractérise aussi une grande table, c'est la continuité dans l'enchainement des plats.
