12/09/2026: A wonderful discovery at L’Ancien Moulin in Houdemont! We had a truly enjoyable, friendly, and welcoming time. The menu is very appealing, and the dishes are simply excellent—as beautiful as they are delicious! 😋 Special mention goes to the summer and its lovely terrace, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. And a big plus for us: the outdoor area is very safe for children, allowing us to fully enjoy our family meal without any stress. We really appreciated this discovery, and we will definitely be back! A truly wonderful place that I highly recommend!

10/09/2026: An excellent meal enjoyed in a very calm and welcoming setting. The waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable, especially regarding wine pairings. Everything was perfect, from the aperitif to the desserts. Just reading the menu made my mouth water. The dishes were not only works of art, but also incredibly delicious. The pairings were perfect. We will gladly return, bringing friends along. This is a place worth knowing and visiting.

07/08/2026: The "Souris d'agneau" (swine shank) as a main course was a highly recommended choice – the meat was very tender, the vegetables exceptionally fresh. However, the selection of appetizers didn't impress us; the "Planche" (charcuterie platter) with meats and cheeses was served in large chunks, like something you'd find in a mountain hut, which doesn't live up to the restaurant's culinary standards. It's particularly disappointing that the wine doesn't receive the attention it deserves – the producers of the wines by the glass aren't mentioned, and the glasses are brought to the table already poured without showing the guests the specific bottle (though an exception is made for regular customers). Small bottles aren't available either, which is a real shame. There's no outdoor seating in the summer, and despite the fans, it's quite warm inside.

01/08/2026: Authentic French, delicious dishes, lovely service, top chef, and very high-quality food. A nice Rosé, served nice and cold due to the heat, and a lovely carafe of cold water. Highly recommended.

22/08/2026: A wonderful discovery! We had a fantastic evening. The cuisine is refined, original, and beautifully presented. I particularly enjoyed the zucchini carpaccio, the duck breast, and the cheese selection. My partner chose the wood-fired eggplant, the lamb, and then the pistachio and raspberry dessert, which she thoroughly enjoyed. We also opted for the €22 food and drink pairing, a very worthwhile experience. I wasn't a fan of the wine suggested with the cheese, but the waitress immediately noticed and replaced it with another. A real plus! The service was efficient, friendly, and very pleasant. We also greatly appreciated the small treat served upon our arrival, as well as the one that accompanied our coffee. A very enjoyable evening, both in terms of the food and the service. We will gladly return.

21/08/2026: I was recommended the restaurant Âmes Sœurs with such conviction that I felt almost obligated to go, and what a pleasant surprise it was! Everything was perfect. We opted for the blind tasting menu and were in for a series of delightful surprises. It was a bit like a treasure hunt: we had to identify the different dishes and their ingredients. Everything was delicious, original, and perfectly balanced. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, and the service is quick. The little touch we particularly appreciated was at the end of the meal, when the chef came to meet us and explain each dish. You can immediately tell he's passionate about his work. I highly recommend Âmes Sœurs to anyone who enjoys discovering new flavors, being surprised, and having a truly wonderful experience.

03/09/2026: Authentic, simple, and incredibly effective. The restaurant's strength lies in the quality of its expertly prepared dishes, crafted by a talented chef. (Especially the meats...) Add to that the warm welcome, genuine friendliness, and conviviality, and you've got it all! (Special mention for tonight's Turamisù, which has made me fall in love with figs again... 😋)
