14/08/2026: ⭐️ A very disappointing first experience at Les Bouchées d’Or in Terville We came for the first time to try their Texas-style meat, specifically the brisket and beef ribs. We had just returned from a trip to the United States, so we were really looking forward to finding that type of meat again… unfortunately, it was nothing like it. The meats were extremely fatty and, for us, simply inedible. We left about half of each plate. Our daughter ordered an Angus ribeye, which again had a fat content that we estimated at around 30%. When we pointed this out, we were told, “That’s normal, it’s a ribeye.” You can imagine our reaction… I even offered to take her with me to show her what, in our opinion, a real ribeye is. After our complaint, we were presented with an initial bill of €112.90, even though we had barely eaten half of our meals. When it came time to pay, a second waiter asked us if everything was alright. I replied, "Didn't your colleague warn you?" He said no, absolutely not. And that's where I found the situation particularly unacceptable: if we hadn't insisted, we would have simply paid the full bill. In the end, we paid €78.61, mainly for fries, which were good, and mashed potatoes. For a first experience, it's still very expensive for what we actually ate. Honestly, given the numerous positive reviews, we expected much better. We really don't understand these ratings. As for us, we won't be going back. And frankly, it's unfortunate to say, but **go to Buffalo Grill: you'll eat better for less money.** At least you'll get what you pay for.
