A huge thank you to the staff and the owner, who called me a taxi. They were so kind and professional.
Thank you so much to them! I haven't tried their food, but I'll gladly go.
02/03/2026: Dinner with a friend at Le Fil Rouge tonight on his recommendation and I wasn't disappointed!! Warm welcome, excellent food and good wine, relaxed atmosphere – in short, I highly recommend it.

27/03/2026: 4⭐️ An excellent spot for crepe lovers! Both the savory galettes and the sweet crepes are truly excellent. The staff is very friendly and the service is particularly fast, which is much appreciated.
However, a minor drawback is the lunch menu, which could be clearer and more generous:
Drinks: Be aware that the lunch special includes a 25cl Coca-Cola, while the standard size outside the lunch special is 33cl. It's easy to be tempted to order the standard lunch special instead. Similarly, still or sparkling water isn't offered with the lunch special.
Side dishes: Salad is always an extra charge. It's a shame it isn't automatically included, even if it means increasing the price of the special by €1. This would make the experience smoother and less fragmented.
It's really not far off from reaching 5 stars, the food is so good. I'll gladly return, but with a special focus on the menu!
28/02/2026: I was there with my daughter this evening, and what can I say except that this restaurant is a wonderful discovery.
We chose the savory buckwheat crepe (galette complète) and the four-cheese crepe from the menu.
They were delicious, and my daughter, who didn't finish her meal, was offered takeout. Nicely packaged, we went home very satisfied. 🤩 Passing through Armentières? You know where to go if you want good food made with quality ingredients.

So why 5 stars?
I'm from Normandy, and when I come to the Lille area, this is exactly the kind of brasserie where I like to relax!
You can tell that things are done right here; you'll find the traditions of good living: a warm "Bonjour" full of smiles, you'll feel the pleasure of being welcomed.
The same goes for the food; the steak tartare, the same one I used to eat at my aunt's butcher shop in Wattignies, is delicious.
So, I highly recommend it.
And a big BRAVO and THANK YOU for contributing to the success of our stay in Lille.
19/10/2025: The food is more than average, we were disappointed with the dishes which have no taste, the meat and products used are not of good quality, everything was bland.

17/04/2024: no, but who does he think he is to demand justification for a negative review! No questioning, doesn't even care why he gets a bad grade. Simple, big guy, your waiter when you ask him if it's possible to sit at another table than the one proposed and he starts to moan, raise his arms in the air like you're pissing me off... well yeah you deserve a bad review, you keep a low profile and you apologize. This estaminet is the world turned upside down, it's up to the customers to justify themselves and not the owner, puffed with pride, to apologize, to question himself.
28/03/2024: Personally, I don't recommend it. We were informed by telephone that there was a vegetarian meal and when we arrived I was offered meals without the meat, not great for a restaurant except to eat fries. In short, you might as well go next door.

08/05/2024: Salle de restaurant cosy avec des tables spacieuses ; un serveur discret et sympathique…. Et des frites au grasse bœuf comme je n’en avais jamais mangé ! Rien que pour ça (mais le reste du repas était impeccable), il faut aller y faire un tour !

Les plats étaient beaux, savoureux et copieux.
17/06/2024: À l'occasion de l'anniversaire de ma femme, nous sommes allés au Nature, la cuisine était excellente, mais la serveuse désagréable. Au terme de la soirée, j'ai osé laisser un commentaire à cet effet sur Google et s'en est suivi une vague de tentative de chantage et d'intimidation du patron Monsieur Gautier, à coups de mensonges et de techniques de voyous, afin que je retire mon commentaire qui était honnête et factuel vis-à-vis son établissement qui cherche désespérément à récupérer l'étoile qu'il a perdu (on se demande pourquoi...) . Je ne remettrai jamais les pieds dans cet établissement ni dans un quelconque endroit tenu par cette personne...

Le service parfait, personnel très agréable et aux petits soins
Dommage que ce soir-là, une table de 6 personnes non loin de la notre a fait beaucoup de bruit, sinon la soirée aurait été parfaite

Accueil formidable, petite carte entièrement “fait maison” à des prix vraiment attractifs.
J’y ai mangé le meilleur jambon-beurre de ma vie. Leur salade sont magnifique de même que leurs desserts.
La petite terrasse est charmante, foncez-y!
22/07/2024: Het ontbijt ‘simple’ is vers en smaakvol. Je krijgt de keuze tussen verschillende versgeperste sappen. Het brood en de gelei zijn heerlijk. Verder krijg je in dit ontbijt nog een warme drank.
De broodjes die ze verkopen zijn ook verrukkelijk.
De bediening vriendelijk .
