07/02/2026: Always a warm welcome. If you want to eat good meat cooked over a wood fire, this is the place to go.

01/02/2026: I first came to this inn with a group at the end of September: it was perfect. This Sunday, I wanted to introduce my partner to this establishment. The meal was mediocre. The potchvlesh had a lot of jelly, was greasy, and there were only small portions on my plate. My partner's charcuterie board was very generous. The Sunday dessert that the waiter strongly recommended was a frozen product. The pears on top of the charlotte were still frozen. Very disappointing and not worthy of a traditional Flemish inn. Very disappointing!

09/03/2026: Terribly disappointed... What was once a landmark of heritage, perhaps even the only surviving example of a French estaminet, is now very ordinary.

27/01/2026: A very pleasant place with a warm and friendly, typically Flemish atmosphere. The welcome is truly delightful; you immediately feel at ease. The food is delicious, generous, and comforting 🤤, with well-executed dishes that make you want to come back. I also absolutely loved the setting: a beautiful place with tasteful decor, authentic without being stuffy, where you enjoy lingering. An address I wholeheartedly recommend, whether for a get-together with friends or to experience the spirit of a traditional Flemish pub.
