29/11/2025: Excellent food as usual. The new waitresses are very pleasant and helpful, the welcome is still as warm, and the dishes are just as delicious. I'll definitely be back! 😋
26/11/2025: We were very satisfied, but that was before.
Today, what a disappointment! The welcome, the food, the service—nothing was right. Two out of four dishes were lukewarm, and the fries were soggy and greasy, and the portion was rationed. The main courses, served at breakneck speed no doubt, were brought in at the same time as the aperitif. The management's welcome and communication were extremely unpleasant. I now understand why the competent staff left.

16/09/2024: Nous sommes allés à La Cantine pour manger une moule frites en ce week-end de braderie de Lille. Elles étaient vraiment très bonnes pour un prix très correct! L’ambiance de l’estaminet est chaleureuse et typique ! Nous reviendrons sans hésiter. Une belle découverte !
06/09/2024: Very well decorated room, typical estaminet, warm welcome... the dishes are homemade, the fries are super good but big downside on the Welsh which is "revisited" according to the owner: the result is not very convincing: no copious ration of melted cheddar according to the traditional recipe, but rather a large slice of bread covered with a little cheddar-based sauce mixed with crème fraîche.. for fans of the original Welsh recipe, a real big disappointment.. too bad it is not specified on the map that it is a house interpretation

12/07/2024: Un lieu toujours chaleureux, une cuisine simple et de terroir délicieuse.
Merci pour ces bons moments, nous recommandons votre établissement.
14/03/2024: A 2 sans réservation, on nous a trouvé 2 places au milieu de la table d'hôtes. Voisins sympathiques. (On venait d'être refusés à quelques kms). Une large carte, notre choix se porte sur la suggestion du jour. Bon choix. Un bœuf bourguignon succulent, viande tendre, bonne sauce et bonnes frites fines. Nous reviendrons.
