10/09/2026: Hello, Not recommended for private events. At the end of July, I requested a private event for a group of 40-45 people, with an on-site meeting scheduled with a staff member. We spent an hour discussing the organizational details (number of people, minimum cost per person, menu, etc.). The meeting was pleasant and the conversation flowed smoothly. Mr. Guy Parent, the "owner," who introduced himself at some point during the meeting, verbally agreed on the private event and the cost. A quote was supposed to be sent by August 17th. Nothing happened on that date. I called again on August 29th. The date was indeed reserved, no problem. On September 8th, a terse email: "Sorry, we're not going ahead." A call on September 9th: Ms. Parent, who handles financial matters, disagrees with the previously agreed-upon financial terms. Several points to note: - Failure to meet the response deadline, which makes it difficult for me to find another restaurant. - Lack of consistency between the staff, Mr. Parent, and Ms. Parent regarding the appropriate course of action/decision. - Unprofessional attitude: after leading me to expect a positive response, the final decision was negative. Furthermore, the communication method (email) and the email's content were impersonal. - Damaged trust. In conclusion, not very professional.
