03/04/2024: What a fantastic restaurant! My husband and I had brunch here our first day in Paris and it was an awesome start to our trip. Super cool atmosphere, warm and friendly service, and absolutely fantastic food. Loved the yogurt and granola bowl, and the croque monsieur was quite possibly the best I’ve ever had. The apple tarte tatin for dessert was so good, and the rich, thick hot chocolate was just divine. If we lived in Paris, this would be one of our regular spots for sure. We’ve already booked dinner the day we leave so we can try some more dishes!

13/04/2024: Well… I see that as soon as we leave a negative review we get yelled at a little by the restaurant who responds saying that we are annoying but I'm going to take the risk because maybe the return won't be fair. as a criticism The +: the setting is great, the magnificent location, the friendly atmosphere. It smells like a restaurant where people are returning to a bit of an HQ, which is a good indicator. The menu is very French and traditional, the products are good, the service in the pans is funny. In the part it's up to you to judge: the plates are big! For me too much but at least no one will be able to say that it's expensive and tiny However, in my experience: The prices are expensive and we also don't have fish or vegetable options in the dishes (but in the starters yes). But ok it's a bias we can do with no problem The wines are super expensive apart from a few in the 45/50 euro range. The advice was a bit like "we don't care, it's the same region, it's the same" whereas well... no... it's not the same and we have the right to hesitate to take the time to choose because it's not nothing, It’s a moment to live and everything is important. And the Saint Joseph for 45 euros was ok but not crazy at all. Basically I think that wines are not the restaurant's strong point because when it is, each bottle is very well known to its restaurateurs and well chosen. There it's a bit "quick" Done” but again that’s just my opinion. On the veal liver, the same as other reviews here, the person who ordered it saw it arrive raw. He left again (for a long time) and came back very pink ++ accompanied by small chanterelles to accompany the wait in our opinion (that was nice) but without really smiling or even I think feeling that it could have been annoying that the customer finishes a mash and sees the rest of the table arrive halfway through their meal. But here again there are traffic jams in the kitchen (but it’s said and it’s an apology, it’s nice too) Afterwards I asked for hot water at the end of the meal (because I drink hot water at the end of the meal, that's how it is) and it was billed... 4.50 euros / without specification of course neither up front nor in the service . It's called a passive aggressive message (at worst) a lack of clarity and communication (at best). Telling me that this is outside of your conventions, that you are charging me the price of a tea or herbal tea (and in these cases giving it to me because I paid for it) would once again have been a way of settling the problem. subject.
