13/02/2026: We were the first ones at the restaurant and received a fantastic welcome. The food was absolutely delicious. The service was impeccable and kept up even though the restaurant was full when we left. I highly recommend it if you're spending a weekend in Camiers.
25/01/2026: I would have loved to try this simple and promising cuisine, but despite a completely empty dining room (out of season, in January), the owner politely turned us away, claiming he had no more seats. It was clear he didn't want too many customers that day.

It's a shame the grounds around the courtyard aren't better maintained; it's the first thing you see and it's easy to improve.

I booked two nights on Hotels.com.
Upon arrival at the hotel, I requested a cancellation for the second night due to a family matter requiring me to return home early. The hotelier told me I had to call Hotels.com to cancel. Which I did right there in front of him! Hotels.com agreed but insisted that the hotelier had the final say.
The hotelier refused to listen and charged me for both nights, even though he could have done otherwise. I tried to reason with him, but he became arrogant and advised me to call Julien Courbet and "Manu" if I wasn't happy. I've never seen anything like it from a hotelier!!!! This is how they treat customers at the AKENA Hotel in Camiers! Long live AKENA hotels!!!!! So, avoid this place at all costs........

30/08/2024: Pour l’anniversaire de mon mari… accueil médiocre, lieu sans âme, cocktail au rhum……(3 gouttes !
Une salade du pêcheur à 25 € avec seulement quatre crevettes, trois bouts de tomates, beaucoup de salade fatiguée Un peu de saumon fumé, complètement insipide, des oignons frits en poudre et trois malheureux au bout de sa licorne qui se battent en duel. Ça revient un peu cher quand même pas de pain pas de mayonnaise. Bref nous n’avons même pas attendu le dessert nous sommes allés le manger ailleurs
29/08/2024: Mijn man en ik hebben hier heerlijk gegeten. We hadden de saucijsjes met friet en groente. Als nagerecht heb ik de sorbet Colonel genomen, tevens erg lekker.
De ober was superactief en communiceerde op ietwat ongebruikelijk wijze met zowel het andere personeel als de klanten, maar wij vonden dit absoluut niet storend of stuitend.
De bediening was vriendelijk, duidelijk en ook naar ons, minder goed Frans-sprekende Nederlanders, normaal, niets op aan te merken.
