La Matelote
Belleville
20/10/2026: Excellent restaurant, with very good food and very pleasant staff; we will gladly return…
18/10/2026: Arriving without a reservation at 2 pm on a Saturday, the restaurant was packed, but we were welcomed as a couple, just the way we wish we could be more often – absolutely fantastic! Looking at the menu, I just wanted to order everything. Now that's a restaurant! Thank you, Fred.

23/04/2026: The rooms are fairly modest but equipped with all modern comforts, ideally located with parking right outside the door. The restaurant is good, and the service is pleasant and professional. A full breakfast is included. Ideal for travelers passing through, close to the motorway exit.

Les Agapes
Belleville
09/07/2025: This is the best restaurant in Belleville. In fact I don't think I have ever visited a better one anywhere. Yes, there are more sophisticated, more expensive, more polished places here. But nothing this good. The food is simple,
honest, wonderfully cooked, and very reasonably priced. The team, front and back of house, are friendly and welcoming. The clientele is principally local, and loyal.
28/06/2025: Delicious and varied home-style cooking at reasonable prices, in a cheerful and family-friendly atmosphere.

L'Ange Couronné
Belleville
25/05/2026: ⭐☆☆☆☆ What an incredible establishment… We didn't think it was still possible in 2026 to travel this far back in time without a special machine.
At L’Ange Couronné, every detail seems to have been carefully considered to test the patience of its guests: worn-out bedding, nonexistent soundproofing, questionable cleanliness, and an overall atmosphere worthy of an episode of “Hotel Nightmares.”
The night was so difficult that even the mosquitoes seemed to want to leave before we did.
In short, if you value comfort, tranquility, and a peaceful night's sleep, avoid this place.
On the other hand, if you want a hilarious anecdote to tell your friends for years to come, this is the perfect spot 😄
