Excellent quality cuisine.
Very reasonable prices and more than enough for a starter/dessert menu.
The proximity of the outdoor tables can sometimes make conversation a little difficult, but the shade provided by the plane trees is very welcome.

26/07/2026: Absolutely no hygiene! Don't be surprised if you find beard hairs or other bits of hair, because neither of the two bearded bakers I saw during my visit was wearing proper protective gear. And to top it all off, an unfriendly cashier and her manager with a cold face who stares at you and talks behind your back—what a crazy world, seriously! Or rather, what a crazy franchise for a supposedly reputable business!

07/02/2026: Excellent restaurant. A warm welcome from a very friendly and attentive waiter. The food was delicious; I highly recommend the Thai tartare – a true delight. Thank you to the entire team at L'Ardoise.

13/05/2024: This restaurant's quality is inconsistent, which is a shame. Some dishes are very good, others are only average. (I recommend the salmon tartare, which is excellent.) The desserts aren't amazing. For business clients who need a quick lunch, the service is complicated...
The owner has a personality that some won't appreciate, and the service reflects that. Aside from that, the staff is often friendly, but it's true that when it's busy, the dining room quickly becomes disorganized, and you really feel the stress. We're visiting less and less often because many of our colleagues no longer want to come.
