17/10/2026: I had booked a table yesterday for 12:30 with platters, since there are no hot meals on Saturdays.
Upon arrival, we learned that a group had booked everything and therefore they couldn't accommodate us. No comment!
07/10/2026: Excellent Lyonnaise cuisine and an enticing wine list, all in a friendly and cheerful atmosphere.
The location is charming.

02/10/2026: We came for dinner on a Friday evening and couldn't have hoped for a better way to celebrate our birthdays.
Sixtine took excellent care of us, making sure we had everything we needed.
We chose a set menu, and the dishes were delicious and generous.
The dishes were prepared with fresh, seasonal ingredients. A special mention goes to the cod; it melted in your mouth.
Choosing the €37.90 set menu was truly excellent value for money.
We've made a note of this great place and will definitely recommend it to our friends and family.

28/09/2026: We had lunch there on Saturday with my little boy, and frankly, we had a wonderful time.
I was pleasantly surprised when I discovered the restaurant. The interior is very nice, and there's also a lovely terrace outside.
We received a very warm welcome. The staff were friendly, helpful, and genuinely kind, which is so appreciated with a little one. The owner is very kind and lovely.
And the food was excellent; we thoroughly enjoyed it!
I'm just disappointed I didn't discover this restaurant sooner 😊 We'll definitely be back!

08/10/2026: Excellent restaurant, perfect service. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was calm, the tables were spaced far apart and there was no rush to leave. The ambiance and setting are unique, a nice change of pace :)

17/10/2026: As usual, they're incapable of placing a correct order. Ordering on Uber Eats... the Happy Meal items are missing, and the fries from the four meals ordered are missing! And of course, no refund is possible! And on the phone: sorry, but you'll have to contact Uber!!!! Train your crew!!! It's not that complicated to put fries in a bag!!! And especially to check them!!!!
11/10/2026: October 10, 2026, I ordered a McExtreme Cheddar meal for €13. After a 30-minute wait, I received a completely different burger, even though the McDonald's was half empty. At the counter, they swapped it without apology, without a gesture, throwing the other burger in the trash. The burger was missing ingredients, including bacon. I went back again and got the same reaction: ignored, no apology, no gesture. Nothing. I worked at McDonald's for two years myself and I've seen my share of incompetent people, but this level of indifference in one place is unbelievable.

17/10/2026: I eat there every time I'm in Lyon. The workers are like robots, they don't even say hello. It's always busy, it used to be better.
12/10/2026: The smell in the dining room was appalling; we found hair in our fries, and they refused to replace them.
There's a problem!
This is unacceptable; avoid this place.

08/12/2025: I recently had the pleasure of staying at La Villa Borgo, and I must say the experience was exceptional from beginning to end. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by a smiling, helpful team who were truly attentive to every detail. Their sense of service, combining professionalism and kindness, greatly contributed to making my stay pleasant and memorable.
I sincerely thank the entire team for the quality of their welcome and for their attention to detail at every moment. I recommend this place without hesitation.

13/05/2024: This restaurant's quality is inconsistent, which is a shame. Some dishes are very good, others are only average. (I recommend the salmon tartare, which is excellent.) The desserts aren't amazing. For business clients who need a quick lunch, the service is complicated...
The owner has a personality that some won't appreciate, and the service reflects that. Aside from that, the staff is often friendly, but it's true that when it's busy, the dining room quickly becomes disorganized, and you really feel the stress. We're visiting less and less often because many of our colleagues no longer want to come.
