10/09/2026: The restaurant was far too hot. There were several fans, and I appreciated the effort, but there was no difference in how well they blew from table to table. My table received no airflow at all, and I had a sweaty dinner. Several other customers were also using fans. I asked if they could direct the fans towards me, but they didn't do anything about it. I was really looking forward to the meal, so I'm very disappointed that I couldn't concentrate on the taste during the latter half of the course because of the heat. The foie gras appetizer was absolutely delicious. It's a taste I would love to have again and again.

09/09/2026: A truly excellent restaurant, great value for money, the tastiest food I've eaten in ages! We went for the 4-course menu, every course was good. In addition, we were surprised with 3 intermediate courses. Highly recommended!!

07/08/2026: A restaurant that's definitely worth a visit. The owners offer a warm welcome in a clean and well-maintained setting. The meals are refined, beautifully presented, with a wonderful fusion of flavors. The value for money is excellent, as is the atmosphere. An address I highly recommend.

03/10/2026: I came with my partner on a Friday evening. The welcome was fantastic, the atmosphere calm and understated, a real pleasure to be able to converse without having to raise our voices. The meal was excellent, with incredible flavors. The value for money is more than fair. We loved our evening. I recommend this restaurant for a date night...or even for a larger group (personally, I don't think this restaurant is suitable for young children...but that's just my opinion).

06/09/2026: July 2026: Year-end update A beautiful evolution on the plate. Still as refined, but so much more indulgent. Some slightly more unusual combinations. Truly delicious. Service even better than before. We can finally give it a glowing recommendation 😉 March 2025: There's a lot to say, both good and bad. First, the dining room. Cold and drab. We were the second couple to arrive, and we felt like we were sitting in a train station waiting room... Once full, it was very noisy! Then, the service. Excellent. The staff is very approachable, pleasant, and attentive. Finally, the meal. We were a little disappointed for a 2-Michelin-starred restaurant with a €200 menu. Nothing was wrong or bad, of course, but the flavors were rather mild and all quite classic. Even though the result was very good, nothing truly exceptional. Special mention, however, goes to the cheese (what a plate! 😜), the frog leg accompaniment, and the pigeon. Ultimately, we had a good meal, but we find it difficult to recommend the restaurant to our foodie friends.

The interior is relatively small and simply decorated, giving the feeling of a chef inviting friends over for a meal at his home. Tablecloth-less wooden tables create a relaxed and informal atmosphere. 🎗️ The chef presents his dishes under the motto "Keep it simple - keep it good," minimizing unnecessary elements, focusing on balanced plating, and emphasizing the quality of the ingredients. Each dish has a light flavor profile and avoids the heavy buttery elements found in classic restaurants. For the beginning of 2026, the restaurant presents a Tasting Menu called Menu Joyeux, utilizing daily available ingredients. Starting with the lunch-only Menu Envie ($80), consisting of a Starter, Main Course, and Dessert, with the option to add a cheese course for €22; the next is Menu Essence ($160), served both lunch and dinner, comprising 3 courses, Cheese, and Dessert; and finally, Menu Partage ($220), also served both lunch and dinner, consisting of 4 courses, Cheese, and 2 Desserts. Some highlight dishes include: ✨ Lamb Perfectly grilled lamb on a barbecue, paired with artichoke and fried leeks, and a rich Jus sauce. Diced Vaucluse truffles are added, with a thin layer of grated truffle on top. (16/20) ✨ Dessert The main dessert is a variety of rhubarb dishes, infused with the fragrant aroma of lavender. 20/09/2026: The temple of meat in Lyon. If you're looking for exceptional meat, look no further. At L'Argot, the experience begins at the butcher's counter, where you'll be passionately advised on exceptional breeds and superb aged cuts. On the plate, the cooking is impeccable, the portions are generous, and the appetizers (special mention to the pâté en croûte) set the bar very high. Attentive staff and an authentic atmosphere. A must-visit in Lyon.

07/08/2026: Simply the best board game bar I've ever been to. Usually, you have to choose between the quality of the atmosphere and the quality of the food, but not here! The entire menu is tempting, often quite original, and above all, incredibly delicious. The selection of games is huge, and most importantly, the staff are just fantastic and offer excellent advice. So thank you to the whole team, and I can't wait to come back :)

02/08/2026: Thanks to Adam and his Quebecois partner for the warm welcome. The cocktails are perfect, the challenge rooms are top-notch (even if Takaviser left us with a few marks on our thighs!), and the games available are countless. We'll be back to get our revenge on Take Time!

24/09/2026: The service was catastrophic and chaotic. We waited 30 minutes for our order, having arrived at 7:30 PM and left the restaurant at 10:00 PM for just one starter, one main course, and one dessert. Unacceptable! The champagne was served at room temperature, which was ridiculous and subpar. The food itself is always very good and well-prepared, however, the panzotti dish was a bit too small for pasta in terms of portion size; it was truly excessive. Therefore, I give this restaurant a bad rating, and it's entirely justified. I think if Michelin had been there that day, they would have been even harsher. A word to the wise.

Wehappened upon this spot and were very pleased that the lady gave us good food and service with a smile! We had a DELICIOUS spinach and goat cheese quiche with a strawberry tartlet for dessert! Yummy and just what we needed!

05/08/2026: We are very disappointed by your lack of professionalism. We had booked a table for August 7, 2026 (with a booking confirmation!). When we visited the website on August 5, we learned that you are on annual leave, yet we received no notification from you! This is very regrettable, especially since we were only two days away from arriving in Lyon. This has never happened to us before, and it shows a lack of respect on your part.
