13/09/2024: I went alone for dinner and the reason I got in was a reservation. The owner- chef Julien said "c'est complet" and I was the only solo in the room. I had a great dinner.

08/09/2024: Everything is perfect. Really very happy. I highly recommend. Vegetarian option available by asking the boss. Go for it !

12/12/2024: A pesar de no hablar francés, tuve una cálida recepción cuando entré. Aunque el restaurante estaba ocupado, recibí un buen servicio. Me las arreglé para pedir mi carne de su refrigerador especial. Tenía la médula ósea como aperitivo y encendieron un fuego en el hueso para el efecto adicional. La Rubia Gallega entrecôte se hizo perfectamente a medio raro. Mi hijo y yo estábamos tan llenos que estábamos muy satisfechos. Sin duda volveré de nuevo cuando visite Lyon.

23/08/2024: I signed up in May to get here in August. The dishes are served very beautifully, but their taste is ordinary, I can’t say that it was very tasty. Looks a lot like an overly promoted place.

08/12/2024: Very good gourmet restaurant. Please note that it is open on a Sunday in Lyon during the Festival of Lights +++. Very good quality-price compromise 45€ per menu (see photos). The only downside is that the room is a little noisy.

21/11/2024: Christophe Roure and his team gave us a great moment of conviviality and taste. The wax-cooked Arctic char and the wood-fired Wagyu blackmore beef are pure marvels of originality and flavors. All complemented by quality service. A truly recommendable establishment.

Servizio super cortese e simpatico e nota di merito l’aver prontamente sostituito un calice di vino rotto inavvertitamente con uno nuovo e pieno . Conto corretto per il cibo ed il servizio proposto

16/08/2024: Les saveurs de ce restaurant, ce sont, dans l’ordre de mes préférences, un excellent accueil et de la bonne humeur, une nourriture savoureuse et raffinée, de l’humour en veux-tu en voilà et, ce qui est rare ici à Lyon, et surtout dans ce quartier (ça y est, je l’ai dit !!) un excellent rapport qualité prix. 16/08/2024: Unfortunately, this was not a good experience for us. I can’t decide if this place is a tourist trap or just a mediocre local restaurant. We started with a Pâté de Campagne, which was nicely served with some pickled cucumbers. While it was very local and quite tasty, our enjoyment ended there. The main dishes, Octopus tentacles and Entrecôte, were mediocre at best and could have been served at an amusement park. The seafood was greasy, and the steak was overcooked and bland. While we left no longer hungry, there was nothing memorable about the meal or the experience. Sadly, this place fell far short of expectations.

11/06/2024: We arrived late but were made to feel very welcome. The dish of the day, long-cooked loin, its small vegetables and its puree were frankly delicious and plentiful. Thank you for this very pleasant moment 😃. We recommend it!!

20/09/2024: We had dinner on August 22, 2024 in this Lyon restaurant, the day after its resumption after its summer closure. The experience did not live up to our expectations because we expected more from this promising restaurant, recommended by the Michelin guide. The summer menu, obviously very light, was definitely a little “short” with a very limited choice of options. Several alternatives were also accompanied by supplements, including on wine. So much so that they became almost essential for an already limited choice. If the cuisine remains of high quality and the service impeccable, it is clear that the resumption of activity has been done at a minimum with basic offerings, which do not live up to the restaurant's pretensions. The room being already half full in the middle of the week, we are right to question the relevance of such a minimalist menu... The restaurateur responded to this criticism with this argument: “We understand your remark regarding the limited choice of our menu. However, we would like to explain to you that this choice is deliberate and has been an integral part of our philosophy for 13 consecutive years now. Our objective has always been to favor quality over quantity, by offering a short menu but entirely composed of homemade dishes, from starters to desserts, even including our ice creams and sorbets. » We maintain our criticism. By invoking the freshness of the products to justify his minimalist menu, the restaurateur avoids the question posed. When in such a short menu, there are so many extras, we increase the bill, quietly and seemingly nothing. In fact, the bill came to 71 euros/person (wine included), an amount much higher than the basic menu displayed (45 euros). Moreover, the selection of wines recommended by the boss (45 euros) was curiously unavailable, and replaced by a much more expensive bottle (73 euros), a proposal that we obviously refused. Since our first exchange, the restaurateur kindly pointed out to us that the prices are displayed on his website. However, he did not see fit to update his website this summer 2024 and in fact, it was his winter menu that was displayed at the time of our reservation. A regrettable omission. An oversight, without a doubt.
