10/10/2026: We had a reservation for last night (October 9th) for a birthday celebration. After a 30-minute drive (we don't live in Lyon), we arrived at the restaurant. Imagine our surprise to find it closed! The least they could have done was inform your customers so they wouldn't have made the trip. To top it all off, I received an email today from La Bigoudene thanking us for our visit and hoping we had a wonderful time! No comment whatsoever on the food.

I highly recommend it.

The food was generous and delicious, both at lunchtime and in the evening. The prices were more than reasonable considering the quality of the dishes served. The team is truly wonderful, always smiling and welcoming, which makes the atmosphere even more pleasant. A special mention goes to this particularly elegant, smiling, and attentive waiter… it's hard not to want to come back when you're treated so well! 😉 I'll definitely be back. Hoping to be served again by this truly magnificent and elegant waiter. 5 stars

29/08/2026: Overall, the experience was positive; the cruise was enjoyable, as were the food and service. A minor drawback during our last visit was that the lock passage took longer than expected, meaning we only had 20 minutes of free time in Neuville-sur-Saône instead of the usual 45 minutes. In other words, you shouldn't stray too far from the boat! Regarding the food, the dishes were listed as a side dish with mashed potatoes, but no one received any, which is a shame considering the set menu and the number of customers known in advance! When we inquired about this omission, we were told there were "supply problems." Passing by the kitchen, we saw two magnificent gastronorm trays of potatoes—what are we to make of that?! It's a shame, but the experience is still worthwhile.
