04/04/2026: Beautiful place on the banks of the Saône, friendly staff, and excellent frog legs and dauphinoise potatoes

03/04/2026: The atmosphere in this restaurant was extremely strange to begin with. A woman (I think she was the owner) stared at us throughout the evening, watching our every move at the table to the point of embarrassment. As for the food, my friends ordered duck and a piece of meat, which were decent, but the potato gratin was undercooked and practically inedible. I ordered the all-you-can-eat frog leg menu for 37 euros. I imagine that at that price, it was frozen, but I at least hoped they would be good, and unfortunately, they weren't. The frog legs were far too overcooked, as was the parsley sauce, which had turned black. I asked for a second plate to see, and it was the same thing. I should mention that there were only three of us in the restaurant, so the chef had plenty of time to prepare our dishes properly. In the end, the bill came to 105 euros for three courses, a glass of wine, and a Coke. Honestly, I wouldn't say avoid it because it does the job, but at that price and for the atmosphere, you can find much better in Lyon! In any case, I won't be going back a second time.

27/01/2026: The daily special was a success: Caesar salad, sliced ​​beef with beans—everything was delicious and well-balanced. And the tiramisu to finish was a real treat! I thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you to Rosa Parks in La Duchère 😊

31/03/2026: I wanted to share my experience at Coeur d'Artichaut in Lyon 9. The service is excellent, they are very welcoming and truly take care of their customers. The food is delicious, with a hint of Italy. The cuisine is delightful both for dining in and takeout. Don't hesitate!

28/12/2025: The staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. The service was very quick and excellent. The vegetarian pizza was absolutely delicious. The bottom of the crust got a little burnt during cooking, which left a slightly burnt taste, but that's a minor detail. Thank you for the warm welcome.

01/04/2026: I went there while the hotel was being renovated, and honestly, it would be a real shame to miss out if you're in the area. I had the set menu (main course, dessert, coffee), less than 20 euros for a generous portion served without rice or pasta. I eat at many hotel restaurants like this one, and I found it to be a cut above the rest, much better quality. The dessert was fresh and also very generous (pineapple carpaccio). The atmosphere was a bit cold in a sparsely decorated dining room, but the hotel is undergoing renovations, so please bear with me. The service was excellent, friendly, and efficient. The menu is very short, as the restaurant focuses on daily specials. I can only hope it's just as good every time. If I lived in the area, this would be my go-to spot.

31/01/2026: A restaurant we love to visit for lunch, not only for a break from work but especially for the warm welcome, the relaxing atmosphere, their daily specials—always delicious, (very) generous portions, made with seasonal, market-fresh ingredients—all at an excellent price (daily special, dessert, and coffee for €15.90). Located within the hotel, the restaurant is lovely, bathed in natural light from the veranda. A special mention goes to the team: Manon (with her smile and sense of humor), Anaïs (friendly and discreet), and the Head Chef, whose mastery of cooking both meat and fish we serve deserves a special mention, as does the generous portion size. This place has become our go-to spot, and we're not exactly picky eaters (Manon can attest to that) ;))

28/02/2026: Very disappointing service, prices, and staff

28/02/2026: The worst bar in Lyon, both in terms of atmosphere and service, which is abysmal. Shots were watered down, and the beer was mediocre at best. Book your platter well in advance; it's prepared by the restaurant next door! Thank goodness Uber Eats delivered! The waiter was about as helpful as a suitcase without a handle. The only redeeming feature might be the history of the place, which is unfortunately misused.
