20/12/2025: A charming hotel in the heart of Mercurey.
A warm welcome, an immaculate room, and a delicious breakfast.
22/10/2025: We were passing through from Germany to Provence and planned to stay overnight at Mercurey (AirBNB). We happened upon the Hotellerie Val d'Or and stopped in for dinner. Luckily, we were early and got a table, as almost all the tables in the restaurant were reserved. The service was very attentive and prompt, the dishes delicious, and the wine selection outstanding. The cuisine was regional and seasonal and very accommodating to allergies and special requests. We felt completely at home and will stay at the Hotellerie du Val d'Or next time.

30/12/2025: After pushing open the door, my eyes widened: a beautiful cellar, four estates belonging to Aurore and Amaury Devillard. There's something for everyone. When you decide to do a tasting, let yourself be guided by the vintages and grape varieties of the Côte de Nuits, Côtes Châlonnaises, and Mâconnais. A wonderful, truly wonderful discovery.
10/12/2025: We were a group of nine... and we all left the tasting completely charmed...
A beautiful tasting room, an excellent welcome, a wonderful tasting experience, and truly excellent wines! The estate owner dedicated all the time necessary to answer our questions and share the family history of the estate. He is passionate and engaging. The tasting seemed endless. We discussed the technical, commercial, and gustatory aspects... A real journey... well done!
We all bought some wine, but apparently it's not mandatory 😉.
Thank you! Of course, we'll be back!
