Dish of the day today: roast pork, the best of my life. Bravo to the cook, the welcome, the atmosphere.
Not to be missed if you are in Monceau-les-Mines.
(Sorry, I didn't think to take photos of the dishes... well, I couldn't think of anything else when they arrived ;)

09/10/2024: Le service est rapide, avec des serveuses très agréables, rien à dire de ce côté là. La cuisine quant à elle manque de qualité. Le plat du jour contenait du poisson surgelé et deux cuillères de riz. Quand au dessert, une gauffre à peine rechauffée avec une cuillère à café de Chantilly . Le verre de vin à 8 euros n'est pas à la hauteur de son prix. Bref pour 25 euros l'ensemble, vous avez un repas de self.

...a new arrival in the heart of the city, this restaurant has an interior that is very pleasing to the eye...the setting has been completely reinvented and I must admit that it is very successful...the staff is numerous, responsive and smiling...the prices are very attractive from 16.19 to 31 euros...the presentation of the dishes offered is worthy of a starred establishment...this careful aspect is also reflected on the plate ...the dishes are tasty and give us the irresistible desire to discover new ones...
I must agree that this restaurant could become a reference in the future...
Practical aspect...free parking nearby.

27/08/2024: We arrived a little early and that's probably why there wasn't much choice in the window. That said, we had bread, croque monsieurs and sandwiches as well as madeleines. Everything was very good and fresh. Reasonable price. Friendly staff. THANKS

26/08/2024: Every time I pass through Montceau-les-Mines, it is always with great pleasure that I come to stay at Lucy’s hotel restaurant. The welcome is warm. Each room has its own atmosphere and pretty personalized decoration. I appreciate its large closed parking lot. Family and friendly atmosphere. Regional dishes, cuisine like at home.

Warning to all tourists. Here you are excluded!
21/09/2024: We stayed at the Hotel Konine for one night while traveling through. The room was modern, clean and the bed was of very high quality. The breakfast was delicious and varied.
Unfortunately, the window of our car was smashed during the night and all of our luggage, including motorcycle helmets, etc., was stolen. Unfortunately, we didn't get the support we wanted from reception when it came to informing the police and it seemed like this was a normal situation at this hotel.
Since we weren't the only car in the hotel parking lot that was broken into that night, we, and other people affected, would have hoped for a little more support, as communication in English/French was rather difficult.

I just regret that room service is no longer available.
But the cuisine is excellent, and the value for money remains by far the best in Montceau.

14/12/2024: Si vous aimez le bruit, attendre vos plats longtemps et les manger froid c'est la bonne adresse. A fuir, seule la viande était à la cuisson souhaitée mais froide.
11/11/2024: Un bon endroit pour un repas en.famille des choix de plats pour tout les goûts et petit plus gâteau offert pour l anniversaire de ma fille
