30/07/2026: Lost in the middle of nowhere, no customers. We stop on our motorbikes, craving ice cream, but there's none. The bar is old and uninviting, with a paved square in front and trucks constantly passing by. We take two cans of soda from the fridge. The owner tells us that if we want to sit down, we must take glass bottles. €9 for two sodas and a bag of chips is a rip-off. A bar in Italy without ice cream would have been closed for years. Terrible.
