14/08/2026: This isn't our first time here... It's our (grown) children's favorite. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The dishes are as delicious as they are beautiful, with a wide variety of options. And the air-conditioned dining room is a real bonus during this heatwave. I highly recommend it.

11/08/2026: €45 for two, including a main course, dessert, two glasses of rosé wine, and a single Americano. The skewers and chocolate bars were a real treat. The service, provided by an apprentice, was excellent—quick, friendly, and responsive to our questions. I hope the tip given to the staff is shared equally with the apprentices. I highly recommend this establishment. You do French cuisine proud.

25/09/2026: I can’t imagine a more satisfying dining experience. Each dish had a unique flavor profile, enhanced by the freshness and quality of its ingredients. The service was attentive and perfectly timed. The decor is modern, understated, yet inviting and warm. The beehive on the roof and the drought resistant garden underline the intentions of the restaurant’s “natural” concept. Bravo.

We enjoyed the terrace in a very pleasant and cozy setting. The food was a real treat! Fresh ingredients, beautifully presented dishes that were as delicious as they were beautiful, and the flavors were spot on. We ordered the tataki and the rigatoni: absolutely divine! 😋 And to finish, a delicious gourmet coffee… perfect for ending this wonderful meal. ☕🍨 Thank you to the whole team for your warm welcome and this superb experience. 10/10/2026: The setting was understated, elegant, and welcoming. The reception was very pleasant. The service was friendly, discreet, and highly professional. The products were of exceptionally high quality and expertly prepared. Special mention goes to the pithiviers, a technical marvel with incredible flavors. If I had to find a single negative point, it would be the tea offered at the end of the meal: it was brought to the table already brewed, without me knowing the brand and without being able to adjust the brew to my liking. But that's really just a suggestion for improvement, because otherwise, it was truly perfect.

19/09/2026: What a delightful surprise this 8-course menu with its perfect wine pairings was! The sommelier described each glass he served with precision. It was a true pleasure. Everyone was so attentive, which was very pleasant without being intrusive. Admittedly, this isn't something everyone experiences, but it feels wonderful to treat yourself and enjoy such an experience. Bravo!

31/08/2026: We had a wonderful time at the Auberge des Matfeux. It had been a few years since our last visit. The quality of the ingredients, the impeccable service, and the wine list are still top-notch. However, and I know this is certainly not the restaurant's philosophy, I would have liked a few more surprises and to be challenged a bit more by the chef's cuisine. While the flavors are well-balanced, I didn't find any bold or impactful tastes. I think I might not be the target audience, but I appreciate it when food evokes a bit more emotion.
