It was very crowded, and the servers didn't seem to have much time to spare.
For context, we were on vacation in a shopping mall.

20/10/2026: The menu isn't very appealing to begin with.
The service was fine, and the staff did their best.
However, the quality of the food leaves much to be desired. The cuts of meat were mediocre, the cooking was inconsistent, the side dishes were poor, and the presentation was disastrous.
It had been a very long time since my last visit, and I didn't recognize Courtepaille. The unlimited side dishes are gone; now you have to choose just one.
The bread is disgusting, and the desserts are frozen.
That's not why Courtepaille has become cheap: €30 for a main course, dessert, and drink! That's it for me; I won't be going back. I'll go to Hippo or Buffalo Grill instead.

19/10/2026: Unacceptable service at Léon de Rosny 2 restaurant!
Today, at 1:40 PM, we arrived at Léon de Rosny 2 restaurant with our children.
Upon arrival, the receptionist tried to seat us right next to the sliding doors, which open and close every time someone passes by, even though it was only 11°C outside.
I politely declined this table, as we had experienced the exact same situation at this establishment a month ago. That day, despite the much milder outside temperature, we were extremely cold during our meal.
This time, I asked to be seated in the dining room, where many tables were available. But the receptionist categorically refused, claiming that the restaurant closed at 3:00 PM and that she could only offer us tables located on either side of the sliding doors.
At 1:45 PM, with children and an outside temperature of 11°C, was it really unreasonable to ask for a table sheltered from drafts, especially since the restaurant was far from full?
So we decided to leave without even sitting down.
It's not just a matter of seating, but of common sense, hospitality, and consideration for customers. When you work in the restaurant industry, customer comfort should be a priority, not a burden!
A particularly disappointing experience, especially since it wasn't the first time.

3 stars for the atmosphere, as it was almost empty, but not unpleasant.

22/08/2026: This restaurant leaves much to be desired. There's a ventilation problem. The smell of fried and burnt food permeates the entire restaurant. Only one out of two coffee machines is working.
It's not clean. Hygiene is lacking. There's a long wait for the main courses and vegetables, and the food is mediocre and bland.
The staff seems overwhelmed. This restaurant should take inspiration from the Flunch restaurants in Villeneuve d'Ascq and Louvroil to improve, as the concept is interesting. You need to make an effort.
