06/04/2026: I recently had lunch with my family at Jules restaurant, and unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The fries were served more than 25 minutes after the mussels and Welsh rarebit, which spoiled the meal. Furthermore, the service was nonexistent; the waiters never came to inquire about our requests, our satisfaction, or to explain the delay. The most disappointing aspect was the owner's condescending attitude when we complained. He didn't even bother to apologize for the inconvenience and made us feel like we were eating without paying, even though most customers leave before being served due to the slow service. It's an experience I won't repeat. I don't recommend this restaurant; the owner's attitude was truly appalling. Luckily, the waitress acknowledged that the day's service was difficult.

The Welsh rarebit was good to begin with, but the fries arrived more than 25 minutes later… As a result, my wife ate the bread and cheese on their own, and the dish went hard while she waited. A real shame. We had the same problem with the mussels: an interminable wait for the fries, and the whole dining room could hear it… so clearly there was a problem in the kitchen. The children's menu was far too limited. As for the gesture of goodwill: very inadequate. On a bill of €170, only the Welsh rarebit and a Perrier (the cheapest drink) were offered. That's really stingy considering the problems we encountered. And above all, it leaves an even more bitter taste because it was our last day of the weekend… We were hoping to end on a high note. The most disappointing thing was the owner's attitude, which was dishonest and showed no real willingness to reflect on his mistakes. Frankly, it's a shame, a significant drop in quality compared to last year. We won't be back.
