10/09/2024: We were looking for an open restaurant on Tuesday (normally majority of the restaurants in the area are closed) and we came by this restaurant that was open.
We were very pleased with the service - extremely nice and friendly staff, helping to choose the wine and the food, delicious home made food, definitely recommend for everyone visiting Salernes!

We ate very well.

02/09/2024: Very good little restaurant which doesn't look like much, but very surprised by the quality of the service and the cuisine which is not great gastronomy, but which is much better than in certain tourist towns in the region.

25/06/2024: Finding good and reasonable restaurants in the the Var which don't depend on pizza is difficult enough but finding one which, without being fancy and expensive offers simple but high quality superb cooking, is very difficult. Les Halles de Salernes is one, and the best we know in the area. Bio veg locally produced or from the biocoop, really fresh fish, a huge selection of bio and natural wines, and a chef /patron who has skill, imagination and taste who made for us a dinner to celebrate. ...and we went back for lunch on Sunday.
21/06/2024: Aufgrund einer Empfehlung hatten wir einen Tisch reserviert. Schon nach ca. 15 Minuten konnten wir unsere Bestellung aufgeben. Die servierten Speisen haben uns leider nicht überzeugen können. Die Linguine mit Trüffel waren völlig geschmacklos und latschig. Die Poitrine de porc war in Ordnung, die Beilage Ratatouille jedoch ebenfalls ohne nennenswerten Geschmack und völlig zerkocht. Bei ca 7 angebotenen Gerichten halten wir - für diese doch einfachen Speisen- eine Wartezeit von ca. 1 Stunde für völlig unzumutbar. Der zwar freundliche, aber lahme Service unterstreicht diesen Eindruck.

05/05/2024: Très jolie place en pierre, a première vue super sympa, mais Houlala que c’est long !!!
1h15 d’attente pour un resto qui propose un plat unique, 30 couverts maxi, 2 personnes en salles et 1 en cuisine! on a bien failli repartir !!
Sinon le plat est bon mais sans plus, une patate au four avec 1 accompagnement, pas de quoi nous inviter à revenir.
