09/07/2025: Formerly the Auberge de la Plaine, where we used to come every year to feast when we went on vacation, we were already surprised by the new name "Mille Saveurs," which is more reminiscent of a neighborhood Chinese restaurant than a good local restaurant... but that's a detail! Then the wait... very, very, very long, and the tables around it were in the same situation! The menu is more extensive than the previous owner's... but we know that in catering, this requires either more staff, or the price to pay will be a drop in quality... and in fact, the dishes are not very refined... the Caesar salad is greasy (the tandoori chicken is soft and mushy), the monkfish with rice is very average... the foie gras is ordinary... not bad, but nothing special, even though the prices are higher. Where are the differences? The previous owner and his team were very empathetic and jovial (Jean Dujardin's visit is a testament to this). The menu is short and features extraordinary ingredients sourced by the owner (langoustines, etc.), very refined and flavorful sauces, and ultimately, simple but excellent dishes that make you want to come back. Unfortunately, this isn't the case so far. Good luck to the whole team! And to enjoy the place, I read Honesty Bar (found on Amazon), a great, non-violent, "feel-good" thriller... TOP!

In the kitchen: The dishes are exceptional, bursting with flavor "just like you'd love at home, because they're cooked exactly to the customer's request, no more, no less—a rare find!" So much flavor, so much flavor, so much real flavor... Thank you, Chef, for awakening my dormant palate. The local ingredients used in the creations are also excellent. Fresh, carefully selected, and expertly prepared—truly. The presentation is impeccable; the generous portions showcase not only the ingredients but also the chef's expertise, experience, and dedication to satisfying their guests. The service: Let's start with the welcome. A natural, refined, and feminine politeness invites you to sit wherever you like. The menus for food and drinks are presented with delicacy, accompanied by cultured and respectful conversation. Without judging customer preferences, the establishment's offerings adapt to each guest's needs and provide a menu that suits everyone's taste. The same applies to the drinks, without any exaggeration, as the experience is more about the perfect pairing of "Enjoy a wonderful time at our table" and the chosen menu. Cheese or dessert, or both for those with a sweet tooth... A decor worthy of our beautiful country discreetly highlights our time-honored traditions. Truly indulge yourself in this fabulous place... If I were a certain little "red" book, I would linger here without delay...

16/01/2026: We had a wonderful time at this restaurant. 😀 Everything was perfect 👍 from the warm welcome—the owner was lovely, kind, attentive, and always smiling—to the superb presentation of the delicious and flavorful homemade dishes, made with excellent local ingredients. The value for money is excellent. 👌👍 And let's not forget the charming decor and, above all, the cloth napkins. I highly recommend it; take a break in this beautiful place in every way.
