06/09/2026: A lovely little restaurant with a warm welcome from both the owner and the chef. The decor remains true to the style of his small-town restaurants, adding to the charm of the place and in no way detracting from the quality of the service and the food. The menu offers something for everyone, and its (limited) selection hints at the quality. We sampled the foie gras, razor clams, cuttlefish stew, steak, and a pavlova. Everything was delicious. We also appreciated the fact that the owner was free to choose the wine. We had a wonderful time.

05/09/2026: On September 5th, my brother and I went to dinner at the Menhir restaurant in Avrillé. As usual, the cuisine is refined, but tonight our taste buds were truly delighted by Elvire's cooking. The stuffed razor clams were a stunning starter, and her lamb was absolutely divine. Don't hesitate to visit the Menhir restaurant to experience a truly exceptional culinary adventure. A huge thank you to Elvire and Jean-Pascal, the brothers.

27/08/2026: A must-visit during our stays in Les Sables-d’Olonne! We come to Bistrot Sablais every year during our stay in Les Sables-d’Olonne, and it’s always a pleasure to return. It’s become a real tradition for us! The welcome is warm and friendly. The place is very pleasant, modern, and beautifully decorated, making for a truly enjoyable experience. A special mention goes to the manager, who is incredibly friendly, attentive, and business-minded. Her welcome and helpfulness are particularly appreciated. An address we happily recommend and where we will return, as we do every year!

09/10/2026: A visit to be enjoyed in a minimalist setting, but the tableware and its contents, the sights, the taste buds, the flavors are a delight. The menu, with its two appetizers, its sophisticated main course, and its dessert, creates an explosion of divine flavor. Our guests are corn lovers, but while passing through Bouin, we discovered new flavors and spices, which will surely make me return very soon. Thank you all, thank you Chef. M.Fr.G
