24/03/2026: A peaceful and charming place with a pleasant welcome. The rooms are small but functional. The dinner is well-prepared and reasonably priced, but the portion sizes could perhaps be improved.
16/03/2026: We had a wonderful evening at the castle restaurant. The food was delicious.

10/04/2026: A warm welcome and attentive service; the meal was delicious. We will gladly return when we are in the area.
30/03/2026: We'll need to hire more servers... This Saturday, March 28, 2026, we made a reservation by phone earlier in the day, and we waited over an hour and a half (without any explanation) for our four courses. We waited with our beer glasses empty for quite some time. We weren't the only ones in the restaurant milling around to eat, even though the place wasn't overcrowded. I don't call that fast food, as some people claim!
As for the water bottles on the tables, perhaps they should either be removed or the limescale inside cleaned out 🤮 and when there are shellfish to shell, provide a finger bowl; it's not the customer's responsibility to go and complain about it.
Many other comments could be made, but I'm not going to spend all day on them....
I think the waitress will remember us because when she "finally" arrived with our food, I made it very clear that we had almost left...🤪
but we were this close to doing it.... If there's a next time, I won't hesitate.
As for the goodbye and thank you from the staff when we left? Absolutely nothing....
So, far too many things to improve in this establishment

RECEPTION: Efficient, Professional, Everything you would expect from a Logis Hotel.
ROOM: (Hotel Le Clovis)
Clean, Spacious, Quality Bedding.
One drawback to note: The television is ancient (probably from the 90s). The screen size is ridiculous; even my PC has a bigger screen!
BATHROOM: (Hotel Le Clovis)
Clean, Spacious. It's a shame that the tiles, the ceramics, and the fixtures (sink, bathtub) all scream 80s!
BREAKFAST: (Hotel Le Clovis)
A generous buffet is offered.
It even includes local specialties like Tourteau Fromager (a type of cheesecake) and Broyé du Poitou (a type of shortbread).
03/02/2026: We stayed at this hotel during the summer of 2025. We booked through a Wonderbox gift voucher, and the hotel was supposed to provide a small welcome gift (two bottles of local wine and a box of "Goulibeur" biscuits).
Once we arrived, no one was available to give us this gift, but we were told it would be sent to us.
I've contacted the manager three times since July, and she assures me she'll send it shortly: we still haven't seen a penny of it.
I do not recommend this hotel; the customer service is appalling.
In addition, the rooms are clearly outdated, and the breakfast buffet was questionable (especially the cold cuts).
Avoid it.
