21/10/2026: The price is more than reasonable, and on top of that, it's excellent. The sushi was top-notch, the beef with onions was equally good, and the caramel lava cake with its perfect little mango sauce was impeccable. I recommend it 100%!

05/10/2026: I do not recommend this place!!!!! A disgrace!! I used to be a good customer, but this restaurant has gone downhill fast!! I placed an order by phone at 6 pm for 8 pm, and we had guests. The order wasn't ready, and my partner wasn't served until 8:45 pm, so almost an hour late. Dishes were charged but not served, and of course, I wasn't reimbursed for a bill of over €100—a disgrace!! The shrimp were only half-filled, and there was cellophane in the sushi—truly a disgrace!! In this place, only the young waitress knows how to do her job. If it's not her behind the counter, RUN AWAY!!!!!! And the person who took my order didn't prepare it and served it an hour late, forgetting things that she then charged us for. She had the nerve to tell me on the phone, "Oh dear, madam, I don't understand why you're upset." This older woman with a very distinctive voice is unprofessional, always late, and forgets half the orders. And if she's the owner, it's time she changed jobs!

29/08/2026: This was the pleasant culinary surprise of our trip along the Canal du Midi. Delicious food, good value for money. Attentive and impeccable service.

28/08/2026: Google said it was open until 10 pm, but we arrived at 5:30 pm on a Friday and the store was closed. Our day was ruined.

22/10/2025: Such an amazing experience. Liz and Joe were the most gracious hosts and treated my partner and I exceptionally. With an incredibly informative tour, exceptional food and world class wine. Anything written in this review doesn't do the evening we spent with them enough credit to an unforgettable night and lovley people. If we ever have the opportunity of being in the region again, we will be returning.

24/09/2025: Winery visit: it is impossible to overstate the warmth of hospitality of Joe and Liz! We arrived as strangers, and left feeling like family. The winery tour was everything we could have hoped for: starting with a chilled glass of white on the terrace overlooking the hills, tasting grapes on the vine about to be harvested, a tour of the equipment, pouring wines straight from the tank and dipping a cask, with Joe telling anecdotes about the history as well as explaining how it’s done. Finally Liz’s amazing and generous cooking in their beautiful dining room, including her home-cured salmon. She even tweaked the menu to ensure that our young Asian friends got a home-cooked rice dish. Convivial doesn’t begin to describe it. Thankfully, Liz also arranged with our taxi driver to come back rather later than originally planned 😂. Practical note: it’s about 20 minutes drive from Carcassonne and they can recommend taxi drivers.
