17/01/2026: This is genuinely the best pizza I have ever eaten in my entire life. The amount of choices you have is insane, and not to speak of the fact that they all taste absolutely amazing. It’s not really a place to eat in, considering it’s quite small. But I cannot stress the fact of the taste of this pizza enough. It was so so so sooo good I loved it. And the prices are also so crazy. It is so cheap considering the priceless taste of the pizzas. They don’t even take that long to prepare as well. Genuinely just amazing, with very nice staff 👍. Not to forget the atmosphere, because the town itself is so so beautiful. I will genuinely remember this place for the rest of my life.

11/07/2025: We had a great time in this beautiful, somewhat hidden restaurant! We ate well and the setting was very beautiful! The service was excellent and the waitresses were great! I recommend it :) Thanks again!

Better than some of the other places we tried in Barjac. We had an enjoyable dinner here.

24/09/2024: Disappointing. Stewed dishes, desserts from the freezer (ordered at the start of the meal). A catered meal. There is no shot! The value for money is not there.

Ps: I can understand that everyone has their own tastes but I really don't understand how some people can be so slanderous!
In this case it is better to look elsewhere and avoid wasting time posting unhealthy opinions, hidden behind a screen.
How sad !
Finally, for our part, we can't wait to return to Clos des Capucins!

14/12/2025: We had a very pleasant stay in a charming and stately setting. The furnishings were more than perfect in a tastefully restored space.
Bruno and his wife gave us a very warm, even friendly, welcome. I was able to enjoy playing the piano in the living room. The Chinese suite is stunning. The breakfast was original, generous, and simply delicious.
We will certainly return with pleasure, and we wholeheartedly recommend this establishment, located in a beautiful area between southern Ardèche and northern Gard.

11/09/2024: Attention, il s'agit d'un resto qui ne propose "que" des salades, ravioles et tartines (très copieuses cependant!). Donc n'y allez pas pour un repas 5 services ;-)

18/08/2024: Lors de la foire à la brocante nous avons déjeuner dans ce restaurant qui proposait un menu unique. Nous avons donc pris l'aïoli et un tartare de bœuf. Rien à dire sinon que du positif.

Cheveux noir dans le tartare qui, selon la gérante, appartiendrait à mon mari.. blond et chauve ?
Les toilettes sont inaccessibles… et la gérante est selon elle trop débordée pour assurer ! Avons payé avec le sourire mais triste endroit finalement, ce que l’on appelle sans doute un « piège à touristes » bien situé !

14/08/2024: - Restaurant unreachable: we called several times during 2 days during opening hours, left a message: no response... we had to go there to order, wait, to be able to take our order.

- Decent fries but very small quantity...
- The sauce offered is actually for the burger and not for the fries, which is not clear on the menu. So I ended up with a sauce that I didn't want in the burger.

09/09/2024: On a cycle ride in the area, we called on a Sunday. Very pleased they were still open. Waiter was friendly and the sharing board of meat and cheese was very good value. Altogether lovely atmosphere, good food and friendliness. Definitely recommend.

21/05/2024: Wer schlecht gespülte und klebrige Weingläser und nicht trinkbaren Hauswein mag, hat vielleicht Spaß an der hochpreisigen experimentellen Küche.
Indiskutabel.
Zum Glück hatten wir im Occitaine und Burgund tolle Erlebnisse im Land und in der Gastronomie, so dass das Etablissement hiermit einfach vergessen wird.
