12/06/2026: Disappointing.
The road leading to the inn offers a beautiful view.
Unfortunately, the inn is surrounded by trees whose canopies almost completely obscure this view.
€30 Set Menu
Starter: either half a buffalo mozzarella, or lettuce with three thin slices of cheese and "Italian charcuterie," a pompous term for four very thin slices of coppa.
The main course was served on chipped plates! Either a quarter of a duck breast, already sliced and overcooked, or a very dry grilled duck confit leg, accompanied by a small amount of potato gratin heavily flavored with nutmeg and very few seasonal vegetables.
Desserts served: Avoid the croustade, which lacks butter. The baba isn't a baba at all, but rather a kind of pound cake soaked in a sugar syrup where you can barely detect the Armagnac, and topped with a tiny amount of canned whipped cream. The strawberry melba is served with a scoop of low-quality vanilla ice cream.
Overall, very disappointing. It had been a long time since we'd been there, and we won't be going back.
