We were served quite quickly. The crepes were delicious. The salad dressing was wonderful.
Their sweet cider was a real treat!

01/12/2025: After 25 years I returned to my favorite pizza place of when I was living in L'Isle Jourdain. The same owner, the same fantastic pizza au saumon fumé and a very friendly staff. Thank you and looking forward to my next visit whenever possible.

01/01/2026: A very pretty hotel with a castle-like atmosphere, featuring a large reception room with a fireplace 🔥, very clean upstairs rooms with lake views, friendly staff, and the owner is incredibly kind. I highly recommend it! 👍👍😉

06/12/2025: While passing through the Gers region, friends recommended the restaurant L’échappée belle. The reviews I had read seemed contradictory, but I was very pleasantly surprised. The €42 set menu was very well executed, and the service was quite attentive. We shared foie gras, and I had the confit cod with endives and walnuts: everything was delicious. The desserts were simple but effective. The chef was very friendly and came to ask about his customers' impressions. This is rare enough to be worth mentioning. Well done! We highly recommend this restaurant and will gladly return!

27/08/2024: I'm giving it 2 stars because the bread is really good and it's the only thing worth having in this shop. In fact when you take chocolate donuts they give you apple donuts without even checking and when you tell the saleswoman the next time she doesn't give a damn. They make you believe that you are saving money with cheap prices, so they are the same price as a traditional bakery but with less of the commercial aspect... /// Galette des rois buy for €9 and not worth it quality of a pancake on I bought it at Intermarché for €4 (no dry frangipane with a peanut butter flavor and so on).

08/09/2024: The waitress/manager is not smiling at all... We really had the impression of bothering her to come and place a take-out order...
In addition I found a piece of hard plastic in my dish... It tasted good but leaves something to be desired when you find plastic in it...
And what's more, they advertise -10% on their cards for any hot takeaway dish, and in fact they don't even apply this reduction...

Frankly, it's a splendor, to go there without hesitation when Thomas is there!

Edit: It's me who is sorry that you are giving in to this ignominy that is halal. As much by the horrible method of slaughter as by the quality of the meat, far below that reserved for the French.
