Room faced afternoon sun and very hot. Heating not changed to aircon despite 7 days of 27 degree heat. We asked about the aircon and told to open windows when temperature dropped in evening. Slept with them open but not restful due to street noises. Breakfast had no toast bread. Told to toast baguette. Fruit salad in sweet syrup but house made yogurt was good and make your own Bio eggs was good idea. Hair dryer didn't work and casual chair back broken. No comfy chair to sit in the room and chairs and sofa in lounge too low for these seniors. Staff friendly and accommodating and bi-lingual. Parking troublesome on Saturday as market in the square.

Easter lunch today, a bit disappointing. The lamb was tasty but very sinewy, the wait between starters and main courses was long, and the portions were small. The wine was excellent.

While passing through the Gers region, friends recommended the restaurant L’échappée belle. The reviews I had read seemed contradictory, but I was very pleasantly surprised. The €42 set menu was very well executed, and the service was quite attentive. We shared foie gras, and I had the confit cod with endives and walnuts: everything was delicious. The desserts were simple but effective. The chef was very friendly and came to ask about his customers' impressions. This is rare enough to be worth mentioning. Well done! We highly recommend this restaurant and will gladly return!

Following an article in La Dépêche du Midi announcing the arrival of a new, apparently renowned, head chef, my curiosity led me to visit the restaurant for dinner with my partner. Having dined there a few years ago, I noticed a clear improvement in both the cuisine and the staff, which delighted me. Accustomed to fine dining, I must admit that this establishment could easily be featured in the Michelin Guide or Gault & Millau. A restaurant to watch closely to observe its evolution; I highly recommend it to discerning palates.

Clean and comfortable rooms, pleasant and competent staff. Special mention to the restaurant which is of excellent quality, good quality products well prepared, refined, but perhaps the portions are a little too small.
