21/09/2026: We had a wonderful time at this restaurant. The gourmet salad with foie gras, dried duck breast, and gizzards was delicious. The waiter was very friendly, and the atmosphere was calm and very pleasant. We will gladly return!

21/09/2026: A wonderful discovery at L’Olivier! I ordered a dish with duck breast and beef tenderloin, and it was absolutely excellent. The meats were perfectly cooked and very flavorful. A great experience, with quality cuisine and pleasant service. I highly recommend it!

10/09/2026: We visited this restaurant four times during our stay in Arès. The sailor's menu was perfect and excellent value for money 👌 Very friendly staff 😊

05/09/2026: We had a fantastic evening celebrating a friend's birthday. The €30 set menu was perfect, with generous portions. The service was very pleasant and cheerful. In short, a place I highly recommend.

01/09/2026: Astropizza: the best pizza in the Arcachon Basin! It's simple: in terms of value for money, it's the best I've tasted in the entire region and around the Arcachon Basin. For me, a good pizza must first and foremost be honest: generous with real mozzarella, prepared with an excellent tomato sauce and high-quality ingredients. Astropizza ticks all these boxes with flying colors! Special mention goes to the dough, which is particularly well done: light, flavorful, you can eat the crusts without any problem because they're so light and not at all heavy. The pizzas are made fresh to order, right in front of you, ready to take away. Plus, their location in the heart of Place d'Arès is perfect, and parking is very easy. A genuine, delicious, and welcoming place. You can go there without hesitation! There were six of us, we ordered three large pizzas, and it cost us 10 euros per person. Incredible.

20/07/2026: When I was trying to eat McDonald's peacefully with friends after a hearing at the police station, I was trying to unwind and end the day on a high note when suddenly a colony of bees decided to perform a ritual around me and then decided to swim in my ice cream. The ice cream, which I had to pay for, couldn't be digested by my stomach. So I'm going to have to file a complaint for ice cream theft.

16/09/2026: Third visit to celebrate my son's birthday, for three of us. Summer heatwave: despite a reservation made three days in advance, we were seated on the roadside terrace (there was so much noise from passing cars, we preferred to go inside to eat). I chose the lobster menu. My children found the €35 menu just passable, and I was sick all the following night after indulging in the lobster menu (clearly the lobster starter was spoiled: a mixture of some kind of mixed vegetables and other unidentifiable flavors... Apart from the lobster itself, which was very well cooked, but still... that's not everything :-) Paying €185 for three people and being sick the following night is unacceptable. Given that the previous time I came with my partner for lunch and we were served a pasta dish, or rather, almost a puree of pasta because it was so overcooked... after that I sent back the dish that wasn't what I had ordered (I didn't send back the second dish; I preferred not to eat it). When the waitress came to collect the plates, seeing that I hadn't eaten, I told her, "Ask the cook to taste them; they're like mashed potatoes." She said, "They must have been cooked too long." Well, Pitey just lost some customers.

15/09/2026: We received a gift voucher for our birthday for a meal, two set menus from Pitey, we thoroughly enjoyed it.
