As a bonus this season, a pleasant and smiling young woman greets us. Thank you to the whole team for your kindness and expertise.

20/07/2026: When I was trying to eat McDonald's peacefully with friends after a hearing at the police station, I was trying to unwind and end the day on a high note when suddenly a colony of bees decided to perform a ritual around me and then decided to swim in my ice cream. The ice cream, which I had to pay for, couldn't be digested by my stomach. So I'm going to have to file a complaint for ice cream theft.

29/07/2026: Great little spot by the pool for a drink. I don't know about the restaurant, but judging by the menu and the clientele, it seems quite pleasant, so worth a visit. I went back again today and it was lovely, a real treat.
And still top-notch, it's pleasant and relaxing on the terrace overlooking the pool.
23/07/2026: We were evacuated from our apartment during the night (due to a huge fire), we slept in our cars, and when we wanted to have coffee at Alcide's, he showed absolutely no empathy and curtly told us, "We're closed," even though he was setting up his patio and could have simply asked us to wait! No solidarity whatsoever!
Avoid this place at all costs!!!

03/06/2024: On a Sunday evening with much of the area between Bordeaux and Lège-Cap-Ferret closed we were a little concerned about finding a restaurant open at all. On TripAdvisor Le Makhila was indeed shown as closed, but thankfully incorrectly. We received a warm welcome and were immediately impressed by the ambience and smell from the kitchen. We had future de poissons and salad de chevre chaud for starters, the fish dish was effectively boquerones fritos and absolutely perfect. Cod on ratatouille and squid mains were delicious, the house wine and the bill very reasonable. Highly recommended.
