13/03/2026: For the second time, I spent one night in L'auberge Canaulaise. It's clean, quiet, warm (it was at the beginning of March).
I had a nice breakfast as well.
The hotel is not far from the Ocean.

20/12/2025: Beyond golf fans who know and appreciate the place, this is the right address for those who wish to change their horizons and experience, for example, a sunset on the terrace overlooking an ocean of pine trees and greens (where you can see deer), especially since the welcome is really friendly and the home-style cooking is excellent!
16/12/2025: As a group of 47, we received a very warm welcome, excellent service, and a delicious meal. The presentation of the dishes was very satisfying, the hot main course was delicious, and the dessert was original. I highly recommend it.

23/02/2026: Sunday, February 22nd, the first truly sunny day after endless weeks of rain. So, blue skies and eight bikers were warmly welcomed at this friendly, bright pizzeria. A variety of generous pizzas and light Italian beers delighted and satisfied us. The dining room is spacious and can accommodate large groups, and the staff is attentive and efficient. Beautiful weather, a good meal, and a great ride—a real treat!
P.S. Please pay for your meal in cash only (ATM nearby) 😉

15/02/2026: Overall, a successful Valentine's Day menu, except for the undercooked potato. The welcome was good and the waitresses were pleasant. The lack of decoration was a shame, especially considering the €55 menu priced at Valentine's Day. The wait was a bit long, and the meal lasted 2.5 hours. There was no heating despite the fireplace insert, so it was rather cold. There was no toilet paper. The atmosphere was poor and the place was dark. A pity.
04/01/2026: In our opinion, the best restaurant in Lacanau... The place is magical and transports you instantly, the cuisine matches the theme and is delicious... Don't change a thing, we'll be back in 2027!

10/04/2026: Our food was served before our drinks. The alcohol in my mojito must have evaporated on its way to our table, and the mint was rotten. The steak tartare was so small I left with the last bit... Nothing positive except the terrace, but that's the same as everyone else's.
