Café Maritime sur Lacanau

A huge thank you to the entire team at Café Maritime, where we had a wonderful evening! A private panoramic bar with a magnificent view, top-notch staff, and kudos to the Chef and his team for the excellent cocktail reception featuring delicious and beautifully presented vegan canapés. All the guests were more than delighted with the evening in such a lovely setting, with a cozy and musical atmosphere, and their taste buds were thoroughly tantalized! Well done to you all, and thank you again!

Very good establishment, friendly and responsive staff

Lovely place and warm atmosphere. Very friendly service, good wine recommendation. However, the salmon steak was cooked a bit unevenly.

Regulars at Bar Panoramique and The Beach House, we had neglected this establishment, formerly Villa Margalex, for some time. Looking at the menu on Monday evening and seeing that they had fish (sea bream and tuna) and that the weather was promising, we settled down on the sunny terrace and were greeted by Bello, a smiling, attentive, and friendly waiter. When we ordered, we asked for rosé, and he offered us a Provence or a Bordeaux. Seeing that we chose the Provence, he recommended the local wine and offered us a taste of the Bordeaux Rosé, a very rare gesture. That said, we stuck with the excellent Provence Rosé, which was only slightly more expensive than the Bordeaux Rosé. The dishes were beautifully presented and generous, and the service was attentive; we didn't regret returning! It's a shame that the dessert menu doesn't include the dessert of the day, which can be found two floors up at Bar Panoramique. I eagerly await the transformation of the seafront with the end of car traffic; this will eliminate the smell of old diesel vehicles that stinks and pollutes the sea air…

A good restaurant very close to the sea, although there is a road and cars passing between the two. A very nice restaurant with beautiful decor. The service and seating are of good quality.

I discovered this place 5 years ago. The setting is lovely, the food is very good, and the service is impeccable. My only complaint is that I paid €6 extra for a small salad on a €26 dish... I have to admit I was very disappointed; it's outrageously expensive. However, I would recommend it for those who can afford it.
