The food is typical and delicious, and the service is quick and very friendly. It's popular, so reservations are recommended. I'd gladly return anytime; be sure to check out the very unusual restrooms!

16/05/2026: What a shame to be treated so poorly, especially since we had a baby in a stroller. A very calm baby who didn't cry once and didn't bother anyone at all. From the moment we arrived, we were treated rudely because of the stroller, and they even managed to tell us, "You're lucky I still have a table over there in the corner." It's you who were lucky that I didn't want to cause any trouble for my friend when I left. I certainly won't be back.
16/05/2026: Absolutely not recommended. We have rarely encountered such unpleasant and unwelcoming service. It felt like customers were a nuisance rather than welcome—especially families with children.
The food tasted terrible, and the prices were completely overpriced for the quality offered. The entire experience was very unpleasant and disappointing. We felt neither respected nor welcome.
For us, this will definitely be the first and last time.

17/12/2025: Review of the restaurant only. Weekday lunch. Generous portions, decent atmosphere and service, prices are average. Well-prepared and tasty Alsatian specialties. The beckaoffa and the bouchée à la reine are worth trying. Returned in early December 2025 for dinner. It's really good.

10/03/2026: The room is quite small but the bedding is comfortable. Clean bathroom! For the restaurant, be sure to book well in advance. Similarly, for parking, you need to arrive early to get a space. Quiet in the evening.
04/03/2026: A very good experience at the restaurant for our first time, excellent value for money, generous and delicious dishes. Top-notch welcome and service, we will be back.

26/05/2026: Everything you find in Alsace…simple, pleasant, clean, friendly, and welcoming, all in a very well-maintained building. I much prefer this type of establishment to an overpriced, ultra-cozy hotel.
With a day reaching 30°C, air conditioning wasn't an option. Parking is available in the center of Thann.
This establishment was exactly what I had booked.

The food was delicious…
The reason I deducted two stars for service is because we had already paid for the hotel, but when we checked out, we were charged again for the hotel along with the meal. Since there were four of us, we divided the meal among four people, and I realized it after I made the final payment. We got a refund, but our accounts got very mixed up… Apart from that, it was great…

28/04/2026: While out for a bike ride, I stopped at this restaurant for a drink. Having only my phone with me, I asked if it was possible to pay for an Elsass Cola using just my phone, to which I was told yes. Besides the fact that the drink cost €4.80, I was told in a completely unacceptable tone that the menu started at €5. To which I replied that I only had my phone. The waitress then said, and I quote, "Ah, these cyclists, with their mobile phones!" in an unpleasant and openly rude tone. So I decided to get a chocolate fondant for my son, which was ridiculously small for the price (€4.90, photo attached). Following this unpleasant experience, we won't be going back.

03/08/2024: La douceur de vivre dans les Vosges avec une cuisine authentique et travaillée. Les meilleures tartes flambées d'Alsace! Et un accueil au top. Les fleischnakas peuvent être mis sous vide à emporter. Nous avons passé un merveilleux moment sous les tilleuls. Un grand merci!

06/07/2024: Restaurant kebab choisi regulierement par mes collegues de travail pour le déjeuné du vendredi midi. Restaurant propre, service accueuillant, et assiettes kebab correctes. J'ai appprécié la terrasse a l'arriere du restaurant.
