21/03/2024: I had a lovely experience at La Taverne thanks to the most amazing server, Samira. She was so gracious and kind. She gently explained the French menu before I ordered (my French is poor). She brought a carafe of water with my meal. Checked in to be sure I had all I needed all whist moving around a busy restaurant with a genuine smile. As a solo traveller from Canada, she really was a gift in my day.

Finally I don't recommend.
05/03/2024: A sure value in Annemasse in Asian restaurants in terms of quality and price, it's still as good as we've been going there for 10 years.

30/03/2024: Arrived at noon, order placed, after 45 minutes still not being served, asked what was happening, response: the person who prepares your dishes has not arrived but will not be long!! Alone to prepare raw fish! So I left, this is unacceptable!!!!

26/10/2023: We booked online for a Wednesday evening, and were looking forward to a maffe and a yassa. When we arrived, no one seemed to know about our reservation and we had the impression of being a nuisance.
No menu, no yassa, no maffe but we are still offered a peanut sauce but with beef...we get a brown sauce with 3 bones (no meat) not a trace of taste peanut... We will never see the color of our ordered plantains... But we still get by for €50!!!! Two bowls of rice and a coke are expensive...
Run away! We won't come back.
