Les meilleurs restaurants en Lugrin

24/02/2026: Well, we went in this restaurant in winter, so maybe that explains what follows and the positioning of the restaurant is different in summer. The service was friendly and efficient. The menu was rather limited, with only a few dishes proposed. These were not really original, one salmon-based, one meat-based, one poultry-based, and the local specialty “filets de perche” that all local restaurants propose. The dishes come only with French Fries or pasta, no vegetables proposed. The cooking was rather average, the fish was too salty, the poultry was overcooked. The meat was good, though. The corresponding prices are not average, though, more in line with something more “semi-gastro”. So alas, unfortunately a small disappointment, we expected better.

27/12/2025: Disappointing food. The trout was served lukewarm with a tasteless side dish and a mashed potato-like purée. Where was the chef?! On vacation, perhaps…

05/04/2026: My wife and I were looking forward to ending our stay at a typical regional restaurant… We should have heeded the negative reviews. Because yes, it's clearly a tourist trap! The owner (an elderly man) was very cold, bordering on rude. The service was rushed, with food served on cardboard plates, and no explanation of the cheeses or how the service worked. There was no carafe of water on the table: you had to ask for it, and no glass was brought with it. As for the raclette at €33 per person: a real disappointment. The portions were more like a children's menu. Honestly, I thought it was all-you-can-eat, because I couldn't imagine such a small amount being offered at that price. Only one type of cheese, and it was tasteless. Barely seven potatoes for two people, and the charcuterie was decent but nothing special and in very small quantities. The bottle of white wine (Château Ripaille, €23) was so bad it made my stomach ache. We didn't even finish it... We ate in 25 minutes, without dessert, and left irritated and annoyed. The owners, for their part, seemed completely unconcerned. The only question they asked was, "Where are you from?" Avoid this place! You'll eat better at La Pataterie!
