A very warm welcome. It's nice to chat with motivated and responsive people (who also have a sense of humor).
As usual, the perch fillets were excellent. The service was very efficient and quick (I was in a hurry).
A great place to eat. Can't wait for summer!

21/02/2026: An absolutely exceptional stay. With two children and a baby, we were blown away: the kids' club was perfect, with varied activities truly tailored to each age group. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and designed with families in mind. The breakfast buffet was a veritable feast of fresh, high-quality products; there was something for everyone. And what can we say about the service? It was exceptionally kind and professional.
A top-of-the-range hotel that has perfected every detail. We will definitely be back.
20/02/2026: A weekend of pure bliss at this hotel. Everything was perfect: the charming staff, the room with its lake view, the amenities, and the wellness area for relaxation. Absolutely nothing to complain about; everything was spotless, the breakfast was varied and delicious...in short, thank you!

30/12/2025: We spent a truly unique family experience in an idyllic location, delicious food, and very friendly staff.
We tried various dishes from the menu and the suggestions.
Everything was perfect.
We recommend it and will be back soon.

12/01/2026: What a disappointment! We usually enjoy this place on Sundays, especially since we were a group there for New Year's Day.
Almost €300 for pâté en croûte. Pâté. Sausage in brioche.
The meat was far too fatty.
No local cheese.
Disappointed with the food, disappointed with the service.
Yet it's a beautiful place. In any case, we won't be going back on New Year's Day...
13/12/2025: A wonderful time at the Hermitage restaurant with my daughters. Attentive and professional service: the waiters thoughtfully noticed and added a small touch to our dessert, which was much appreciated. The sommelier's wine selection was excellent. The setting was elegant and pleasant.

27/10/2025: We had a wonderful stay at La Verniaz. We particularly appreciated the welcome and service, especially Olga, who was extremely kind. The shuttle service to the city center is really convenient and efficient.
06/10/2025: The hotel is part of the Evian Resort, but it clearly doesn't offer the same services as other hotels in the same brand. It's old, poorly maintained, and therefore not in line with the rates charged. And clearly not 4*. However, a commercial agreement has been reached, but that doesn't change my opinion about 1*.

07/09/2025: We stayed in a room with a lake-side view, with a balcony.
And no, even on the road side, we didn't hear any noises from the road.
It was a very nice stay.
Be careful with parking. They were implementing "blue-zone", even though they weren't checking yet.
The only problem is the WiFi.
The signal is good (they use ubiquiti), but the configuration is really bad. It disconnects you constantly even when you are using it and have to login again using dummy data.
Hotel Panorama, please, pay someone to just add a regular password. Forget about the captive portal.

17/08/2024: Le menu Collection est parfait. Bien équilibré, excellent, accompagné de bons vins conseillé par une sommelière compétente et efficace. Le service est bien rythmé par un personnel discret et efficace. Merci pour ce bon moment et tous nos vœux pour une étoile supplémentaire qui serait amplement méritée.
17/08/2024: The food, the service, the view, and the general atmosphere makes it feel more like a two star Michelin than a one star Michelin restaurant. This is one of the best meals I’ve had, and I’ve been to plenty of well known, upper scale restaurants. Good value for money for this type of quality.
Would go back in a heartbeat!

12/06/2024: Une énième expérience au restaurant Les Fresques, mais cette fois-ci, l'expérience a atteint un niveau tout à fait exceptionnel. L'accueil chaleureux et professionnel a véritablement marqué cette visite, grâce à une attention et une qualité de service hors du commun.
Mes remerciements à Pierre Luc et Stéphane, dont le professionnalisme et la gentillesse ont largement contribué à la réussite de cette soirée.
L'équipe de sommeliers mérite également une mention spéciale pour leur expertise et leur passion,
Un remerciement particulier à Gaspard, notre chef de rang, dont le dévouement et le talent promettent un bel avenir dans le métier,
Son attention aux détails et sa courtoisie ont fait de notre dîner une expérience encore plus agréable.
Enfin, je voudrais remercier chaleureusement Patrice Vander, le chef, et César, son second, pour leur créativité et leur savoir-faire. Chaque plat était une véritable œuvre d'art, témoignage de leur passion et de leur maîtrise culinaire. Merci à eux et à toute l'équipe pour avoir transformé chaque visite en un moment unique et mémorable.
21/05/2024: Salle superbe et décorée avec beaucoup de goût (si vous n'aimez pas dîner assis dans un fauteuil, il convient de le préciser lors de la réservation).
Service excellent, sommeliers de très bon conseil.
Plats bien exécutés avec quelques belles surprises.
Rapport qualité-prix correct.
Globalement le niveau a augmenté par rapport à nos précédentes visites en 2020/2021.
