29/05/2026: As usual! A warm welcome from all the staff. A very pleasant experience where the excellent cuisine is enhanced by a high-quality presentation. I highly recommend it! And the icing on the cake... the location is magnificent and relaxing.

21/02/2026: An absolutely exceptional stay. With two children and a baby, we were blown away: the kids' club was perfect, with varied activities truly tailored to each age group. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and designed with families in mind. The breakfast buffet was a veritable feast of fresh, high-quality products; there was something for everyone. And what can we say about the service? It was exceptionally kind and professional.
A top-of-the-range hotel that has perfected every detail. We will definitely be back.
20/02/2026: A weekend of pure bliss at this hotel. Everything was perfect: the charming staff, the room with its lake view, the amenities, and the wellness area for relaxation. Absolutely nothing to complain about; everything was spotless, the breakfast was varied and delicious...in short, thank you!

19/04/2026: An absolutely charming experience at the Hôtel-Restaurant La Verniaz. The setting is enchanting, offering a haven of serenity and elegance. As for the cuisine, beautifully presented dishes at the bistro showcase refined cuisine that magnificently highlights seasonal produce, all served with exemplary professionalism.
Whether it's the comfort of the hotel or the quality of the food, the welcome is impeccable and attentive. A must-visit address that I highly recommend for its authenticity and excellence.

26/05/2026: A disgrace. A cheese plate with six slices of cold cuts. A meager salad... keep walking!
26/05/2026: This is a tourist trap. The charcuterie platter consisted of six slices (admittedly good quality, but still, only six slices) and a huge amount of salad. The Caesar salad was practically mass-produced. The waiter practically threw us out when the bill came.
The only redeeming feature of this "restaurant" is the lake view. Avoid it; bring your own sandwiches! And all of this, of course, comes at a price to match.

17/08/2024: The food, the service, the view, and the general atmosphere makes it feel more like a two star Michelin than a one star Michelin restaurant. This is one of the best meals I’ve had, and I’ve been to plenty of well known, upper scale restaurants. Good value for money for this type of quality.
Would go back in a heartbeat!
17/08/2024: Le menu Collection est parfait. Bien équilibré, excellent, accompagné de bons vins conseillé par une sommelière compétente et efficace. Le service est bien rythmé par un personnel discret et efficace. Merci pour ce bon moment et tous nos vœux pour une étoile supplémentaire qui serait amplement méritée.

12/06/2024: Une énième expérience au restaurant Les Fresques, mais cette fois-ci, l'expérience a atteint un niveau tout à fait exceptionnel. L'accueil chaleureux et professionnel a véritablement marqué cette visite, grâce à une attention et une qualité de service hors du commun.
Mes remerciements à Pierre Luc et Stéphane, dont le professionnalisme et la gentillesse ont largement contribué à la réussite de cette soirée.
L'équipe de sommeliers mérite également une mention spéciale pour leur expertise et leur passion,
Un remerciement particulier à Gaspard, notre chef de rang, dont le dévouement et le talent promettent un bel avenir dans le métier,
Son attention aux détails et sa courtoisie ont fait de notre dîner une expérience encore plus agréable.
Enfin, je voudrais remercier chaleureusement Patrice Vander, le chef, et César, son second, pour leur créativité et leur savoir-faire. Chaque plat était une véritable œuvre d'art, témoignage de leur passion et de leur maîtrise culinaire. Merci à eux et à toute l'équipe pour avoir transformé chaque visite en un moment unique et mémorable.
21/05/2024: Salle superbe et décorée avec beaucoup de goût (si vous n'aimez pas dîner assis dans un fauteuil, il convient de le préciser lors de la réservation).
Service excellent, sommeliers de très bon conseil.
Plats bien exécutés avec quelques belles surprises.
Rapport qualité-prix correct.
Globalement le niveau a augmenté par rapport à nos précédentes visites en 2020/2021.
