Les meilleurs restaurants en Seyssel

13/01/2026: Passing through Seyssel, we stopped at this restaurant which pleasantly surprised us with its short but carefully curated menu and attentive service. The foie gras was very good, the meat was cooked to perfection, and the fried calamari was excellent. The wine list, however, was a bit limited, with few organic wines available. The steak could have been served piping hot, and the shallot sauce was rather bland, but that didn't stop us from having a lovely evening and enjoying a delicious meal. I highly recommend it. The terrace overlooking the Rhône is superb on sunny days.

06/09/2025: Excellent welcome, daily menu, exceptional value for money. We wish all restaurants were of this standard...thank you. We'll definitely be back.

25/06/2026: "Restaurant"...? Not recommended!! We read the reviews late, we were already seated, saw a few positive reviews among many negative ones, and took the risk of staying to eat. Pfff... Keep walking, we regretted not having gotten a sandwich from the nearby bakery. Our meal: a salad with 4 ingredients of our choice. Note that each additional ingredient costs €2. So I ordered a salad with 5 ingredients! My wife stuck with a basic salad, 4 ingredients. Where have all the carrots, red cabbage, etc. gone? The grilled chicken and pulled meat look tempting on the menu, but what a mess! The salad, with a few wilted leaves, sits atop a greasy dressing. In short, keep walking, stay hungry rather than waste your money at this restaurant. It's frankly outrageous to offer such poor quality dishes. This review is intended to be constructive for any potential customers passing through. We're motorcyclists, and we try out different places on our road trips. We're rarely disappointed, but this is the absolute worst! Take the negative reviews seriously; this one reflects reality. On the plus side, we dined in the dining room with a view of the "lake."

22/06/2026: On a sweltering day, After having a half-pint at the bar, the owner informed me that the public fountain was where I could refill my water bottle. Thanks again!
